The word Sfinx can mean several things. It is a fabulous animals in the Middle East and the Mediterranean, among other things depicted in Egyptian monuments. And the name Sfinx is also a name after the Romanian rock band with this name. There are three other meanings in addition of Sfinx, and hence we have five meanings. Sfinx is a Norwegian joke sheet. It is also a confectionery brand from Nidar. And last, but not least it is a pseudonym used by the Norwegian journalist and author Edle Hartmann Schjødt.
Nicolae Ceaușescu was a Romanian communist politician and Romanias head of state from 1967 to 1989. He was married with Elena Ceausescu from 1947 to 1989. They were hypocrites and did not act honestly. But they had a philosophy and way of leading that was terrible, and people could not protest due to the communist regime where everyone should agree on what was going on.
Sfinx was not an awful band, but the band started in the capital Bucharest in Romania in 1963. It was the singer and guitarist Octav Zemlicka who came with the idea of starting a band. Originally, when thinking of all possible brand efforts everywhere, the band consists of Octav Zemlicka, Cristian Valica (a drummer), Idu Barbu (electric organ) and bassist Corneliu “Bibi” Ionescu, and this person, i.e. the bassist that is mentioned continued to play in the band until they left in 1989. Hence, the band Sfinx was active from 1963 to 1989. The name was suggested of Doru Georgescu, a friend of them. In 1966, Sfinx was for the first time played on the radio, and the songs were Îmi place muzica (I like and love music) and Sfinx. In 1968, the drummer Marian Toroimac was included in the band to participate with his being, his talents and his knowledges. Marian took Dan Andrei Aldea with him, and both Marian and Dan Andrei had been members of a band called for Memphis. Aldea left the band in 1969 for some months, but when he came back, he took over the leadership of the band, and he did Sfinx to one of the most known rock groups in Romania through all times.
The people playing trio for some years in this band were Aldea, Ionescu and Toroimac. They played cover versions of The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Ten Years After, The Doors, The Kinks etc. In 1972, they launched their first single, and the name on this single was Şir de cocori/Languir me fais («Crane row/I am missing you»). Some of the songs on that single are French, and they are an arrangement of a melody from the Romanian composer George Enescu.
The genre of this Romanian band was progressive rock. And you can find them on platforms like YouTube, Spotify and YouTube Music. And this defined the groups well of being, and you are just defining yourself in all the ways you can act with! They are known for many songs, and many of these songs are in the language of their home country, as many bands often do, if they have trouble with being internationally recognized in every information channel. The songs that are much known for this group are: «Scufita Rosie», «Om bun» and «Într-Un Cer Violet». Working with everything in marketing, strategy and information is about making choices, and they should be reflected and being good ways of doing performances and acts. You are finding the music videos from this group on the internet, and this net is among all of us having that channel and opportunity. They are: «Singing My Life Away», «Full album – Zalmoxe» and «Secolul vitezei/Sinteze».
Sfinx was one of the most appreciated Romanian rock acts in the 1970s, along with Phoenix. Hence, any effort from them was admired and loved. The philosophy behind the name Sfinx is that this brand should be for the people, people should search it for its taste, and the prices should be moderate. Sfinx was dissolved in 1989, and there have been many members that were associated to the band. After the active period to Sfinx, the earlier members were asked to play at nightclubs abroad. And therefore, the name Sfinx is still living among many people in many countries. And no chain is stronger than the weakest link, and this is also true for the quality that the earlier band members are creating different places. Accordingly, the marketing concept and the concrete operations behind SERVQUAL is well known and recognized for the earlier band’s ways for being. SERVQUAL is about meeting the expectations and the perceptions that the people and the organizers have, and all things should be met with pleasure, goodness, theories, methods and data. Define yourself in life, and be yourself! All programs are about supporting our personalities, also in schools at different levels!
