Giving awards to people who have dedicated their work to mutual progress is something that must be done by leaders. I think the example of a good leader and good @appreciator can be measured by how much he appreciates every effort and performance of the people he leads. In fact, the loyalty of the people he leads and the achievements he has presented will greatly affect the performance of the leader himself. Therefore, special treatment is needed in the form of rewards.
It is true, the reward does not always have to be a verbal offering, but the real attitude of speech is the physical form of the award itself and can be seen and felt. What is certain is that all of this is not seen from an economic value, because anyone will never be satisfied with the value and definitely want more value.
Today, as a leader I am trying to try to make that happen with some concrete actions. In general, I see that the reason for giving this reward is because the evaluation results show a lot of performance and discipline improvements that they have made and have made significant progress. The office that I lead at this time is an office that prioritizes service to justice seekers and the service has been given to the maximum by the employees here.
Their success in providing services and improving service facilities and infrastructure is an achievement, and that achievement should also be nurtured and maintained with awards. The goal is to increase their motivation to work and those who don't. The difference I make is that I don't create competition between them, but instead reward them equally. Isn't this good? no, in my opinion, ethics and timing will determine who will work well and who will be lazy to work.
Overall, I give a certificate for every result of their efforts in their work and in it there is a verbal thank you. In addition, I also gave them a watch that they can always see and remember as long as they wear it. I hope that this performance recognition can have a tremendous impact, especially if I openly give this in public. There is a sense of emotion and the emotional bond between me and the employees is getting stronger and it can be seen clearly from their gazes and attitudes.
By giving rewards to those who are loyal and achievers, it will not only motivate other employees but will also make those who have worked well feel their hard work. This is the key to the team's success at work, those who work not forced, who monitor work are not intimidating.
At the end of this activity, I as a leader hope that this activity will continue to be an evaluation for myself and for them, the trust that has been given to be maintained by continuing to work well. And we ended this activity with a group photo documentation. Congratulations my team.
