Keep your answer under 200 words and post it below for a chance to win.

You will get points for the following:

  • Being creative and interesting
  • Applying humour and a sense of fun

Yup! That should do it! :D

word is he only had one ball.

HAHAHA! I did not know about that one! :D :D :D

It's a old war time song the Allied troops sang.

I bet that mofo had packed nothing at all! :D

There's a different version where he has none:)

That one should be the accurate one, for sure! :D

Right, let me slip on my goggles and zoom all way back to Ancient Greece. Imagine going around the Greeks, studying and adopting their philosophy with all the knowledge that I carry of the 21st-century. I would be a literal rockstar, and my death would leave me honoured a demi-god with a big ol' statue of Zacharius the Magnificent on the Parthenon.

Alternatively, they could just think I'm a witch or demon, not from Mount Olympus, and they'd just poison me for spreading heresy. Honestly, I think that's worth it given how much sex and wine they'd get to enjoy on the daily. Plus, I'd get the excuse of walking around nearly naked, letting my jollies to hang around. Syphilis be damned! 🏛️🔱

Syphilis be damned!

Your Greek wife?

Lololol, that comment literally has my kidney hurting from all the laughter! I do not want to be married to anyone called Syphilis. Bad news all around, mate. Never can love making be any more dangerous!

Syphilis is a bacterial infection usually spread by sexual contact. The disease starts as a painless sore — typically on your genitals, rectum or mouth. Syphilis spreads from person to person via skin or mucous membrane contact with these sores.

🤣

One of my all-time favorite movies

Oh god, I remember this scene too vividly. 😂 I bloody loved Monty Python, and this is a good snippet as to why their comedy is absolute gold. Biggus Dickus!

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Sounds legit. Just make sure you don't end up anywhere near Alexander the Great...He was notoriously fond of little boys. You don't want any of that action in your life! Just keep Alexander away from your jollies man, and you'll have a better time in Greece.

!ENGAGE 25

Oh god, not Alexander. I'm hopefully old enough that I needn't pleasure any old bearded Greek men. I've suddenly forgotten that Greeks liked a little man-love, and I'm not into that myself. My handsome physique could tempt a lot of women, as well as men. I think I'd rather go to Sparta, than Athens.

Yeah, safer in Sparta I think...Those ancient Greeks loved bro-love a little too much it seems.

Specifically the Athenians, so I suppose I'm more of a Spartan myself. They probably have better gender equality there than in modern times, to be honest. Apparently, men and women would often do physical exercises together... in the nude. Gonna have a lot of leg-days for all that kicking, eh?

This is Sparta!

Always leg day in Sparta bro.

Need some of those burly legs to climb Mount Olympus, that's for sure!

"If I had found the time travel machine. I would go to Athens in 387 BC. I would meet and hang with those crazy ancient philosophers like Socrates, Platon, Aristo etc. in School of Athens. I would try to be a famous philosopher. I would try to tell them about quantum physics =P"

I wrote this before i read yours. =)

That's a wonderful idea! It would've been superbly intriguing and awe-inspiring to sit down in the same room with them, just chatting about philosophy. I wonder how they'd think of our modern world...

I would go back on a standard assassination mission. Free my country from 800 years of British oppression. Maybe shoot Hitler on the way back. (if there is time.)
The only problem is that every action has a reaction. If I do those, by the time I arrive back other dictators will have risen. Then you have to go again. At some stage it becomes work and takes the fun out of time travel.

Might just go back, steal some gold and fuck cleopatra instead. Seems like less effort.

Hmm, shoot Hitler...Sounds like a good plan...But fuck Cleopatra and steal some gold sounds way better. Save humanity from Hitler's insanity or fuck a hottie...Not much of a choice really... Cleopatra every day of the week!

!ENGAGE 25

I like to think that I would be a hero and save the world. It sounds great in theory. But it also sounds like a lot of hard work so in reality I would be the same person I am now. Try to get rich, get drunk and fuck shit up. It's a lot more fun.

No point reinventing the wheel...Keep the status quo and the good times rolling 😂

I believe I'd have to have a schizophrenic time machine. One trip would be 10 years in the future to find 'the next big thing' and invest in it now. Think Amazon, Tesla or Microsoft...

If I can't go forward, then I'd go back and invest a couple thou into Microsoft in 1980. With my finances secured I'd head on back to watch and see the time around the Constitutional Convention in the US. Democracy was an untried and untested theory. How did they get it so right...and so wrong?

Interesting choices, cant say I disagree. ✅ I also like your Constitutional Convention choice - I'm often fascinated to see how and why things turned out the way they did.

Money and sex are the perfect excuses to go to the future or the past.

I like your idea. I think you'd travel a lot finding the money

All I have is that I want to go and have days of sex with my husband when we first met. But it's the block chain and I can't say that.

Bwahaha! Fucking hell mate, I think you just said that out loud!

Best comment ever? I don't know...Gotta be close though!

This is why I like you Riv.

Good day and I'm really waiting for the latest announcement. Thank you, I got it.

If I had found a time machine, I would use it in helping the country most problem with the rebel that making and sending bombs toward my workplace. I had been working here for 22 years and there's nothing wrong in this place Saudi Arabia. If they have problems and misunderstandings, why sending missiles? A lot of innocent people will be affected. It is happening right now here but we are just grateful that the government has scud missiles to intercept it before it landed on a certain place. This is the new era of the civil war revolution from the rebels of Yemen toward Saudi Arabia. If only I have the power! My God! I'm not afraid to die and I need this time machine to end up the trouble at once.

You're in Saudi? Lots of sand and oil there huh?

I'm not sure how a time machine would help you mitigate the missiles from the Yemeni Rebels however it would be good if you could. I think that would be a great use of a time machine.

!ENGAGE 25

Yes, I'm working here for a very long time and I consider this as my second home. How I wish I could do it for the people but I think I'm only dreaming. Just sharing for my engagement with your challenge.

If I lived in a place where missiles were falling I'd use my time machine to get the hell out of there and to somewhere no missiles were falling.

Nice idea. Anyway, it's really true that the missile were always intercepted every now and then. It they have no interceptor, I don't know how many people die here.

Yeah, a bit of a shame. What's the fight over? Why are they sending missiles?

It's hard to say about those certain things. According to the news it was from the rebels who wanted to destabilize the Kingdom and it was supported by another third party. I'm sorry for not elaborating the specific story. You know, this is not a democratic country and talking about the situation here is not good in my side. I don't know what is there real problems. What I knew, I'm living/working here for 22 years without any issue of abuse. I am threaten as human so I love living while earning here. The people around me are all so nice with me.

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Ah well you are clearly a time traveler you have the mk3 time warp goggles on. I prefer the mk4 they allow me to zip back and forth with extreme speed and they have the built in cloak of invisibility.

goggles2.jpg

This has allowed me to buzz around in time playing with history, I have been a little busy of late but my favorite recent tricks were putting Boris Johnson in charge of the UK and giving Trump power to rule the US. You will be pleased to know that in the near future I will go back and change that.

But for a even bigger laugh i'm gonna put Kanye West in charge.

Anyway can't hang around i'm off to 1910 Vienna to convince a guy called Adolf to pursue his love of art.

On the way back i'm going to buy some bit coins in 2010 at 8 cents each it seems a good deal.

Lol...Kanye West...What a fucking train wreck that dude is!

I like your idea of encouraging that Adolf guy to pursue his love of art...I mean, what else is he likely to do...Probably just fade away anonymously and never achieve anything.

Good idea on the BTC too...I heard they might go up to 20 cents or so!

!ENGAGE 25

It's a gamble but at 8 cents I thought I would risk it and buy two!

Already back from that time trip, told you my ship was fast, spoke to that artist guy but he apparently thinks he has a future in politics. I think he's over reaching himself.

Well, two of those bitcoin seems enough. It's not like they're going to be worth much. Best to place your money into stocks...I think going back to 2009 and buying heavily into the stock market is a great idea. It's like there's going to be a global financial crisis or anything.

As if anyone will listen to an artistically-oriented guy called Adolf. He'll never gain any support.

With his strange look and harsh vocal delivery I can't see him coming to much.

No one will even remember his name.

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Sometimes real life is way, way funnier and far more surreal than anything we could ever dream up even in our most drunken moments.

Good luck with the 1910 art-dude... If I could offer you one tip, give the University board a small bribe to ensure they accept him, I have a feeling it will avoid a bit of a scene later...

Vienna uni are just too picky, he seems like he would be no trouble.

There is one thing I'd definitely use time machine for, but it's too hard and sad to type about. So this is the 2nd option,
I'd love to see the far future (5000+ years), I don't care if I can affect anything or do anything, the curiosity is just killing me... Plus even if humanity gets wiped, the leftovers would be interesting to see, what actually survives from our times (just like pyramids are leftover to us). I'd love to go to some futuristic library, if they have any (if I can't go to the future, I'd go to the past to see the great Alexandrian Library). I love books :P

Books are also one of my favourite things...

I don't think there'll be humans in 5000 years so you'd have the place to yourself. It's doubtful books would exist either...Everything is digital these days right? Who know though, a few might survive.

I think the planet will be happier without us though.

!ENGAGE 25

Who know though, a few might survive.

The question is which few, I sure hope not Twilight or 50 shades of gray 😂

Haha! Knowing our luck that's what it would be...Or the Donald Trump autobiography. 🤔

No thanks, I'll take Twilight 😂

Haha! I hear you, loud and clear.

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

My friend, I think we would all like a machine to try that first option. hugs

Wow! Yes what would we leave behind... Imagine if polystyrene/styrofoam really did melt away to nothing and all that was left was recycled cups from McDonald's, Kardashian autobiographies and Elvis!!!

the great Alexandrian Library

Ooh yes!!! Good answer. If I could choose for you it would be a time of myth and magyck when fire breathing Dragons filled the skies! ((don't tell me they are not real I refuse to believe it!)) :D

Aww your comment brought a big smile to my face :D

I hope you'll like this dragon ^-^

Have fun ^_^ Let me know if you have any issues or questions

The subject of the time machine is a subject that can keep people busy for a hundred years. It is hard to get out of thinking and dream about it. It would be perfect to see the real details of a war or a historical event. but it could also cause frustration. countries always write their war details in their educational books according to their own side. so i'm not very sure what's right. however, it is better to learn some facts than to believe in lies. even though it will eventually upset us ...

Perhaps 100 years later, the time machine is invented. and people want to go back to the past. They see the primitive period when idols were worshiped and girls were buried alive. this is disappointing. then they move on to a newer time. period of persecution of animals and humans. the period when the heresy level is high. people are disappointed. because all the evils that were done in the old and the new period are caused by human beings.

I think this is a very deep subject.

if I had a time machine...

I would like to see an ancient time when aliens actually landed in our world. this would be an indirect image of the future. or I would never want the time machine. thanks for sharing with us.

Hmm, interesting answer. So you obviously believe aliens have landed on Earth. I tend to agree. I wonder though. would you want to go with them when they boarded their craft to head back to their own planet? It might be cool to see it I think. You'd have to master the alien hip thrust though.

!ENGAGE 25

Ajahahaha 👽 I think I should go with them after learning this dance!

Yeah...I reckon you'd be good at that dance-move. Such a great move!

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Yes indeedy we humans have had some good times when we showed the entire planet just what we are made of :)

It will be much more fun and of a reality if the time machine has a very great limit. Let say, it can only function twice in a lifetime. And if I have a time machine, at first, I will be confused of what to do with it. But I'd majorly do two things with it.

  • First, I'll go to the future and see how it looks like. Right from my childhood days, I have always wanted to look back to my early days when I am old and have no atom of regret over what I turned out to be. A time machine will be much more like me cheating life itself. 🙄 After all, that shitty dude called Life, always cheat humans over a lot of things. So who cares?

  • secondly, I'll just go back to my past. A particular time, when I was in high school and land A VERY DIRTY SLAP TO MY YORUBA LANGUAGE TEACHER! She tricked and forced us into including the subject as part of our final year papers, claiming we couldn't gain admission into college without it. Such a bloody hell lier🤣

Lol...Seems like you have a couple legit reasons to make use of the time machine although I reckon it'd be more fun if it was unlimited...It would mean a person could do whatever they wanted...Almost to cheat death and see everything they wanted to.

!ENGAGE 25

Lolz. Yea, that's right. Cheating death would be a sure thing. And maybe the definition of life itself would changed or become history. And yes! I do have legit reasons to make use of the time machine. I mean, who wouldn't 😁. The only real problem behind it all would be, life would be messed up

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

if i had a time machine i guess i would go to the foundation time of Microsoft, google, apple, amazon and Tesla and be a founder member of these companies. The reason is obvious. They are the biggest and richest companies nowadays.

On the other hand i always want to meet Kurt Cobain and also Yavuz Cetin and try to convince them not suicide. They both are timeless and unique musicians.

And also wondering Tesla and his inventions...Are they myth or is he a genius of his time...i would see the real story.

And one last wish is going to the future. For example in 2368 how the world will look like...i always wonder the future...

I think you're the first to mention going to the future. I think it would be interesting to have a look but it's not somewhere I'd go as I don't feel the future will hold much of what I'm interested in. Still, it might be good to see how messed up the world actually gets!

!ENGAGE 25

Actually i think like you...the end of the world and humanity also. But other scenarios make me excited. Maybe someday human kind would find the regenerated energy but more effective wind and sun,and make the world a better place than nowadays. I also want to see my grand grand grand sons or daughters...it would be obviously emotional moment for me.And also an interesting experience. i don't know...As a person who watches the Back To The Future Trilogy and loves it,i can see a lot of alternative things to do with the time machine...

1.21 gigawatts of agreement...It would be cool to see the children of your children's children's children.

The first thing that came to my mind was the moment I was conceived, I wanted to know if I was a product of love or if I was just a passionate outburst from my parents hehe. 🤦🏽

I don't know why I thought of that, maybe I should delete it and edit this part, but it wouldn't be me anymore.

who wanted to see his parents have sex. Just me? That's a crazy thought.

Because they hate each other, they're still together but distant, sometimes I find it hard to believe there was ever love.

But if I had a time machine I'd want to see the resurrection of Jesus Christ and touch him like St. Thomas, I think it was one of the most magnificent events for mankind since his birth managed to divide history and time for a great mass of people.

who have not heard of Jesus. It would be that time and that moment.

Maybe it was and was Mary Magdalene and I don't remember. 🤔

The truth is that my name is very religious and so is my surname.

Goodbye friends, I will read your comments and your time travel.

Ana Maria Santacruz says goodbye.

💋

Hmm, watching the moment you're conceived? Not something I'd prefer to do but your reasoning behind it is sound enough I guess.

I think it's interesting to hear of people's thoughts around time travel and where they may go. We all have things or interest and questions about the past and it would be cool to have the ability to experience it rather than read it in books.

!ENGAGE 25

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Haha yup... Some things we should never see LOL :D

Hehehe I think I was misunderstood hehe.

Not in the carnal approach, what I wanted to know is if there was love between them.

If there was a spiritual connection, because carnal obviously existed, if it wasn't here.

Thank you, my friend, for leaving your comment. 🤪

If you are a good person and I would guess that you are, you certainly seem to be. I would choose to believe that you were born out of love.

Your birth will certainly have produced even more love at the time I am 100% sure of this, but sadly people grow apart sometimes.

That's the most beautiful thing anyone's ever said to me in the hive.

Thank you very much, and you are absolutely right we are all made of love, our essence is pure love because it comes from the father, the universe or creation.

Only sometimes we forget them, and we need to see it to believe it. We lose faith by the actions of people around us and it's a big mistake.

Whoever has faith doesn't need to see, because he is moving away from it.

Thank you for reminding me that I am a product of LOVE, regardless of the circumstances around me.

Happy day. A big hug. 🤗 @stevenwood

That's the most beautiful thing anyone's ever said to me in the hive.

Well, if that is true then I am extremely happy to be the one who said it, that makes my day, so it is my turn to thank you :)

We lose faith by the actions of people around us and it's a big mistake.

It is normal and natural for this to happen. I think the trick for us to learn, is to see people as basically good, even some of the bad ones want to be good or wish they were good. I 'try' and view everyone as a decent person even though I understand that we all make mistakes. I forgive them and 'try' and forgive me too, (not always easy lol)

I am very happy to have crossed paths with you today, it has brightened my day. I am sure we will cross paths a lot more in the future. I am currently halfway through reading the posts of your Hive foster-Son, he seems like a lovely lad, respectful, responsible and importantly he has a big smile, that tells me a lot!

Keep shining bright and being such a wonderful engager, consider yourself well met and having made a new friend today @soyunasantacruz

Well, If I found a time machine... I would go back to the times of the Big Bang. And once there, I would hunt for the fucker who is doing his/her laundry. And assuming I was successful in locating him/her. First of all I'll kick his/her ass from side to side and then I would give him/her a new box with another brand of soap or detergent that would make a helluva of more foam...

And why would I go there?

Well, obvious! just to see if by chance on my way back, I end up landing in another different 'flying bubble' of those that we so stubbornly call Parallel Universes. And then, I'll stay in this 'new bubble' fucking around for a while, until I feel the need to get back to the same place in my time machine to hand out to this laundrym@n a brandnew box of soap/detergent each time just to see what happen next. Rinse & Repeat.

Yeah, I am some kind of researcher scientist who likes to experiment with weird crap & stuff. };)

I did laundry once...I didn't enjoy the experience and so haven't repeated it. In truth I made a mess of it so that my wife understood that I was bad at it...Never got asked to do it again.

Seeing the big bang would be cool though.

Are you by chance implying that the one doing the laundry back then at the time of the Big Bang was female?

Oh boy! then better I bring with me only "one single brand" of that new soap/detergent on that trip. Because to tell the truth, I wouldn't want to ruin things wasting more time than necessary in case she can be too picky & indecisive to choose which one she would like to try first. Hahahaha

Lol...Well, in my household my wife does the washing because everytime I touch it I fuck something up. It's just safer that way. She's a terrible cook though so I rarely want her anywhere near the kitchen!

Then, do you suspect that all those bubbles that scattered everywhere at the time of the Big Bang, could also have been produced by a manly man frying an egg or something in the kitchen and not by anyone who was doing any laundry work?

Just tell me bro, because I wouldn't want to commit the mistake and suffer the setback of bring with me in that trip a box of new soap/detergent when I should travel with a better cooking oil instead. LoL

Well I think one needs to be prepared for all eventualities when it comes to time travel...A little soap, some oil, maybe a handkerchief for when one gets a runny nose...A person can't be too prepared!

A person can't be too prepared!

Yep! that's right. Better I include also a wheelbarrow of toilet paper just in case of a sudden pandemic during the round trip. };)

Yeah, I am some kind of researcher scientist who likes to experiment with weird crap & stuff. };)

One must always be incredibly careful when doing laundry, the last thing you want to do is accidentally create an entire universe!!!

I did laundry once...I didn't enjoy the experience and so haven't repeated it. In truth I made a mess of it so that my wife understood that I was bad at it...Never got asked to do it again.

Seeing the big bang would be cool though.

I wrote those words in 1984 but some bloody Aussie travelled through the years and stole then so that he could leave the best comment on this post!!!

Ok here in the Philippines they seem to be in some sort of time warp where music is concerned. Air Supply, Bryan Adams, Scorpions, Celine Dion amongst many songs on permenant loop in every Taxi, Restaurant, bar and shop. Its like some sort of mass brain washing. So, if I had a time machine I'd go back in time, suffocate air supply at birth ( oh the irony) dispatch with Celine Dions mum as I don't want to take any chances history may try to correct itself with another one of her kids. Bryan Adams I'd beat to death with his first real six string in the summer of '69. The Scorpions I'd sabotage their tour bus before they made it famous. I have a pretty long list and I am open to suggestions in case i get my time machine working.

Lol...This made me laugh out loud! Well done as that's not something I do a lot.

Can you add Kenny G on your list? Maybe a bludgeoning with that saxophone of his. I'd also suggest you take a hammer to deal with MC Hammer.

Fuck it, just consider any choice of yours acceptable. Open season on shit singers.

!ENGAGE 25

perfect. I do hammer training with a sledgehammer so that would be a pleasure. You know where kenny G's instrument will end up as well don't you ;)

Yep, a sledgie will work just nicely. Not too much force, but not too little either. Swing as hard as you can!

Oh yeah...Kenny will be able to fart out some great music after you're done...Or probably not.

one last note

Jesus man! Not Kenny G!!!

What would we use to fill the silence whilst standing in elevators and in pretentiously twattish, expensive restaurants that describe themselves as bijou???

That guy just has to go...Sometimes hard decisions need to be made and sometimes, like in this case, the decisions are easily made.

You're a cold, hard man G-dog... A cold, hard, brutal man...

Note to self; hard decisions, easily made.

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

You could just move location :D

It seems easier than embarking on a psychotic middle of the road pop butchery project haha.

Bryan Adams I'd beat to death with his first real six string in the summer of '69.

Ahahaha made my Sunday although it was a slightly unfair comment as he always says that "everything he does, he does it for you!"

Haha but i am saving the Philippines single handed. I need the time machine.

You had me at hello Celine Dion!!! :D

heh heh heh ( evil laugh)

Hmmm this is easier than you could possibly imagine right now!

My final nightshift of this weeks work-cycle was a hell-like barbaric mood sucking black pit of despair. ((I didn't enjoy it, in case I didn't quite convey that.))

When I got in from work at 7am, which felt like 57 hours since 7 PM, I read the weekend engagement topic and thought ...EASY!!!

I would forego the temptation to return to the moment my boss was conceived and head straight to the Jurassic Era, embrace being toward the bottom of the food chain and try and get the attention of the reptilian behemoths that are doubtless everywhere.

But why Steven?

Because for the previous 12 hours the only thing I would rather have been doing is wrestling with the mega-jaws of a T Rex as he tried to bite me clean in half... The @galenkp prompt afforded me the opportunity to make this dream a happy and welcome reality.

As a contingency plan just in case I somehow survived this attempt at not having to go to work next cycle, I would take a decent camera and take some fab shots for my blog and also earn my fortune from National Geopgraphic in the process.

timetravel STE HIVE.jpg

Lol...Well I don't know how you got this photo...You use a tripod and an auto shutter release maybe? Anyway, looks like you actually have a time machine and have travelled back to the Jurassic era...I can also see you took the only essential item with you that one would ever need...Strawberries. smart.

At least there's no COVID-19 bullshit to contend with back there...Just T-Rex and his puny little arms.

!ENGAGE 25

Actually the Dino's seem to be suffering from a mass flu, the guy who works in McDonald's here ((YEAH of course there's a McDonald's)) says he heard there is a serious risk of it wiping them out, I told him it is government propoganda.

#strawberriesfromthepast

Lol...Macca's back in the Jurassic period? Bring your daughter's a Big Mac, they love Macca's if I recall. 😂

Hey, don't tell the Dino's that their time is numbered...Let it come as a surprise as it will for humans when their time is up.

Trump... Button... Surprise you say?

Yup bloody Mac fans, even the youngest who's a vegan!!! IKR!

Maccas-loving vegans. This world is topsy Turvey.

I had initially thought of going back to February 4th 1992 and make sure Hugo Chavez did not get his TV time that made him famous and popular. I was also going to make sure he and his co-conspirators somehow get accidentally suicided in prison. That would have prevented 20 years of suffering to the Venezuelan people, about a million deaths derived from chavismo’s intentional rise of crime and poverty, and a trillion-dollar corruption scam. But then I thought that would make me feel a bit guilty. I am not a violent guy and how would I look at my children knowing I had killed in the name of freedom and prosperity?
So, I figured a cleaner way to stop this idiot’s ascend to fame and power would be to stop him from ever playing baseball and thus getting into the military academy. I would have to go then back to 1970 and break his left arm, or his legs. A small price to pay for the good of a whole country and the continent, actually, when you think about the ramifications of his Bolivarian revolution.

Seems like you've got some strong feelings and emotions around this issue. I can see how a time machine would help you satisfy some of those desires to prevent suffering.

I do, unfortunately. I wish I did not feel that way. I may be speaking for some 20 million, most of which have even nastier wishes.
Maybe they'd want to go back to the 50s and get rid of Fidel, or even back to the 1910s and prevent the Bolshevik revolution

There have been many injustices perpetrated by the hand's of humans throughout that ages. It seems that sort of behaviour is inherently part of our makeup.

Unfortunately, it is. It is also inherent in our makeup the stubborn illusion that we can solve all that, that we can have a better world, a fiction we have actually called "no-place", but that does not stop us from toying with the idea.
I don't know if we should call it irony or what.

I'll be honest with you, I feel that humans are on a collision course with extinction and that we will orchestrate our own demise. I don't know when or how, but I don't see how we can continue to behave in the ways we do and expect to survive.

Some may call this fatalistic and that's ok. Some will disagree with me too. But my opinion is that all things come to an end and some point...Even the planet will, so how could we believe we won't also?

The pride, ego and hubris that defines our society will come full-circle at some stage. I won't be here by then though, so I won't care.

I agree. I even think it may happen soon enough for us to witness it; or should I say endure it.

Bloody baseball has a lot to answer for, right?

VZ will rise again by virtue of people power... People will only remain downtrodden for so long. Corruption cannot flourish forever.

Be the very best version of you that you are able to be, smile freely, empower people with kind words and smiles and it will spread, when enough people smile together and open their hearts they become ready to dispel the darkness forever.

I have enjoyed meeting the VZ community members here, I find them so warm and friendly and I know the once proud country will rise again like a phoenix, bigger, better and more connected than ever.

Take good care of you and yours my friend and look to the future, the past, sadly, cannot be undone :)

Thank you very much
Nice words. Deeply appreciated.
Baseball has given us some joy, though. Our players in the big leagues are national heroes. Pity we do not produce politicians or military of that caliber.

You are more than welcome, my friend :)

Sadly certain positions attract those who are corrupt or those who just want to line their own pockets. Stay strong, trust in the people and be optimistic for a bright future. :)

Okay... There are a lot of historians in here, and that sure is enviable. I could choose the time of William Shakespeare, I spent most of my college life studying his plays. But really, if you put a gun to my head and said you get to pick one place and time, I'm a man of material means.

I'm taking my time machine back to 2009 and convincing myself to start mining the Bitcoin.

You see, back in 2009 I was involved in a lot of computer schemes, MLM marketing mostly, get rich quick kind of stuff. Sitting at my computer for hours on end clicking through the pay per click sites and things of that nature. I sunk a couple thousand bucks in to various money making opportunities which only served to make the people I sent the money to rich. One of them actually ended up getting arrested and going to prison for fraud, Wellspring Capital Group Blake Prater. I still remember that pretty vividly in 2007.

So I'm going back and mining, and telling myself to sell the 2017 top. Of course I'd have enough BTC to hold on to some for the future, but selling enough in 2017 that my family never needs to worry about money again.

I'd probably give myself a list including STEEM and a few other alt coins that I could invest in for long term growth.

Then the question comes up of trying to figure out who is Satoshi. Do I need that knowledge? I really kind of think I don't. I could certainly keep the secret, but being able to make my family secure is really the important factor here. Knowledge is great, but secondary. Who is behind BTC doesn't really matter in the long term. Though maybe I would tell Dan Larimer that partnering with Ned was a really bad idea and change the future of STEEM.

I'm probably over 200 words and thus disqualified from the contest, but it's all good. Fun to hypothesize!

200+ words...Totally disqualified! (Not really bro, I'm not that tough on people.) I set the 200 words so I didn't have to read War and Peace comments!

I'm taking my time machine back to 2009 and convincing myself to start mining the Bitcoin.

At last I see this comment! I had thought this would feature prominently but alas, you're the first to make the comment!

I think I'd be happy to take a thousand bucks and buy some in 2009/10...Mining is a bit beyond my technological capabilities I think. Still, 1000BTC at 0.01c...Yeap, I can do that.

I'm one of those historians you mention, but I can see the attraction to your plan...And especially after so many MLM false-starts!

I also don't give rats arse about who started BTC...Just that I have some...A time machine back to 2009 would solve many issues.

Good entry.

!ENGAGE 25

Hah. Yeah. I figure a lot of people at least thought about it. But they either didn't want to give the obvious answer and/or seem materialistic.

Thanks for the challenge. It's fun to think about!

Lol...I'm ok with a little materialism all in the name of fun. You're right though...Everyone was thinking it, you were the innovator that said it though!

Thanks for joining in this week, I think your first time. So welcome, and thank you.

I set the 200 words so I didn't have to read War and Peace comments!

Jesus man, way to take a sideswipe at the woodman ((I really need to work on that nickname!!!))
😂

I only have so much time in my day and at 50 years old not much life left ahead of me...So, 200 words per entry seemed ample.

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Wow I read this entry quite quickly, but I think I managed to follow the flow correctly... OMG I had no idea that Shakespeare invented Bitcoin then changed his name to Dan Larimer. Jeez I learn so much on the blockchain.

All joking aside though, how cool would that be to go back to the start of BTC and invest as much as you possibly could when it was just a few cents?

You could literally overthrow every government on the planet, start your own Supreme Galactic alliance and make Bill Gates mow your lawn!

From the point of helping,
USA somewhere around 1890, try to make shit ton of money from history info, and give everything to Tesla, best lab, unlimited resources for all his experiments and ideas.

Society after that would be much better, or destroyed by some forces that we still not know exist or understand :D

Haha, get in early you reckon? Good plan. I think going back, knowing what we know now, would prove to be very profitable indeed. It would be nice to go back and see stuff, learn about history, but I think every one of us would also like to do so with future financial gain in mind...Or a better future as you suggest.

!ENGAGE 25

no, i thought about Nikola Tesla :D

For making a lot of money with a time machine you would not need to go that far. 2011, buy lot's of BTC, don't sell till 20.000$ leave half for your pension :D

Yeah...If only a time machine was a reality...We'd all be crypto millionaires!

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Your time machine looks so rusty it'll malfunction and drop you in middle of some ancient Aztec war.

But then your glasses are gonna make them think you are Tlaloc, the Aztec god of rain.

images.jpeg

So they would all stop the war and bow to you. Congratulations, you just ended the war. All hail G-dog.

entry coming soon

Lol...I might actually be Tlaloc! I don't mind me a bit of rain!

I'm looking forward to your entry.

I don't want to be at ground zero, so I think I would pick the Superstition Mountains in Arizona. the year would be 2 months before the big meteor that took out all the Dinosaurs about 233.23 million years ago. I am a lucky guy and my time machine would place me there at the right time.

Why 2 months, well I'm old, it would be nice to have some fresh air to breathe for a little bit. I understand there was a lot more oxygen in the air way back then. I have seen all the documentaries on dino's and by all account their poop did not stink, I have seen the scientist pick up and sniff fossilized dino poop on TV before, (its called Coprolite, you can google search fossilized dino poop and that gives you the name of it if you did like me and forgot what it was called.). it would not matter if it did smell though since my sense of smell is not that great.

I would take my lawn chair and my camera with me, just in case it was not a one way trip, if it was a one way trip, well like I said I'm old. Just think of the confusion later when some treasure hunter finds a fossilized old guy in a lawn chair while searching for the Lost Dutchman mine.

Lol...Seems like a good place to go...It'd be a pretty good show to sit and watch. I'd add in some snacks just to further confound the archaeologists...They'd be scratching their heads wondering how corn chips and Oreo's got there 233 million years earlier!

I'd say this is a perfect legit use of a time machine!

!ENGAGE 25

It was late for me, it should have been 66 million years ago to watch the big meteor strike. If the time did come though I think it would be a way to cause some curious questions like how did this happen?

There's so many questions I'd like answers for and a time machine would provide the means to learn them.

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

I'm thinking the Lost Dutchman wouldn't have been there yet! That'd be two mountain ranges in the future.

But I really like the idea. What the hell did it look like? What color were the Dinos? How big were the flies? The problem with viewing the past through anthropology is like trying to view the world by looking through a pin hole. There is just so much we are missing...

There is, and nothing like being there, and I goofed on the date, it should be 66 million to see the big blast. I did find this cool map https://dinosaurpictures.org/ancient-earth#0 while doing a half asleep search and comment. Type a place and pick a time.

That map is way cool! Nice catch. I really like it!

Pretty cool to see how the world looked way back then, our own virtual time machine.

Ahahaha Yes! That would be the ultimate way to go out if you felt you were ready for euthanasia, just to imagine all those Discovery channel documentaries with scientists frantically scratching their heads to come up with a plausible explanation.

In many ways you could inadvertently end up as a global Deity, the God who looked after the dino's and quite clearly created the Earth!

Just in case this dream ever becomes a reality, you know if Steve Jobs diary of upcoming projects ever turns up... You must remember this incredibly important trajectory change... The latest data suggests it is actually 233.24 million years ago or perhaps my nonsensical side is winning the day again and I am just talking a load of Coprolite...

Assuming you stay with us in the present for the next 7 days at least, I hope they are wonderful ones. Take good care :)

I had to think hard on this one. I have done alot of stupid things I could change but I think I would most like to go back to two times that could probably teach me the most.

  1. I would travel back to Erie, PA in 2004-2005 and spend more time with my mom before she was sick! Tell her all the things I wish I had but didn't get the time too. Plan some more shopping trips and just hanging out talking about life. To have her yell at me for getting a tattoo (even though I was out on my own and married).

  2. I would also travel back to see the building of the pyramids/sphinx in Egypt. They just intrigue me so much. I love the stories of the pharaohs and ancient times.

I have done alot of stupid things I could change

Phew, I thought it was just me...So glad to have a fellow stupid-thing-buddy! Lol.

Tattoo regret huh? I reckon there'd be many feeling your pain. I have tattoos and don't regret them, but then again I thought long and hard before my first. I was 30.

The pyramids are a popular choice I think. Stop past Adelaide Australia and pick me up on your way!

No regret on either tattoo I have! My mom just didn't like them, she yelled at my brothers when they got theirs but my first was days after she passed in honor of her.

Ah ok. My mum said there were three things I could not have. Guns, motorbikes and tattoos. Sorry mum, got the trifecta! 😂

When she saw the first tattoo I got she licked her thumb and tried to run it off thinking it was drawn on...Funny.

Eventually she came to accept the fact I was a gun-toting, motorcycle riding inked man! I don't think she loved me any less.

I love it!! And I am sure she loved just the same 😉

If I found a time machine I would love to go to the time mentioned in the Bible that Jesus lived and when he started his ministry. I have so many questions I think the pharisees failed to ask Jesus and I want this because of my faith and religious background. I wish to to strengthen my faith. I will love to see how he was nailed on the cross and how he died

The other day I was rewatching a show on Disney plus - Cosmos. I am always into the future or into the distant past. Unknown attracts me. I know this sounds weird but that's true.

With the time machine, I would like to go to that point in time when our ancestors decided to settle down after the ice age. That's a historical point I would like to witness myself. Give me some liberty, will you? I would not only want to visit a specific point in time but would rather document the whole history. All speculations and assumptions that we have today are not complete. The civilizations of Mayan, Indus may have achieved what we today think is unachievable. What if they had already developed a different form of internet and mastered the art of communications with other life forms not known to us. What secrets are lying around us that would be awesome to know?

I would want to see the series of civilizations, go through all historical moments and document almost all the steps of evolution that happened. I would explore the origin of consciousness and understand the ultimate truth of Nirvana.

I know you don't want me to wonder. Give me the time machine and let me explore the time horizon. Maybe, I am also posting the same comment in some other timespace in some other universe.

That sounds like a pretty good use of a time machine. This sort of stuff interests me too. I don't think I'd come back to 2020 either. There's nothing here of any real interest to me.

!ENGAGE 25

Thanks. As Neil degGrasse Tyson said in the show, if we start our calendar since the big-bang the human evolution happened in the last 30 seconds of that calendar year. Let me time travel those last 15 seconds on the 31 December of the Universal calendar.😇

Yeah, good point. Humans are so young in the grand scheme of things. And yet we have done so much damage to the planet.

Yeah. It's because we are way way smarter than the others including the process of evolution that created us. Cheers to our brain.😇

I would go to Princeton Hospital

The time would be 17 april 1955

I would go there to have a talk with Albert Einstein before he dies and ask him :what where you trying to figure out behind all of that clutter on your desk? And : do you have any regret?

How do you Einstein's answers may affect you or change how you proceed in the future?

!ENGAGE 25

I would like to see his thought process after all has been said and done. I would use his vision and try to take the good things to learn in the time I have left in my own life. I would just want to see how his mind works, I find his brain fascinating.

It would help me to know how one of the greatest minds in history acts in front of unavoidable death.

Seems like a good reason. I think it would also be interesting to hear about what his regrets may be...I think that would offer a lot of perspective on life.

Yeees!!! Oh my now I really want to go back in time ahahha, your challenge is awesome, I wish we would be able to do this someday... Arhhh the constant wondering....

I really wish I had a time machine in real life...Anyway, time to look forward to this week's #weekend-engagement topic...Hmm, what to do, what to do...

Same desire here too😍

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Hello @galenkp,

Adjust the controls of the time machine just as the universe began.

Theoretically, I could fall into an infinite loop and lose myself in the process, but imagine, being when everything started or corroborating that it always was, is, and will be. Maybe I'll be surprised and never come back.

I don't think I'd ever come back if I was to have a time machine at my disposal.

!ENGAGE 25

@galenkp, surely you would go through the different times to collect the best weapons in history. Imagine what you would find in the future.

That's certainly something I would do...I'd have an extensive library too as I'd pick up some of the most difficult books to get and bring them back.

Yes..! A good place would be the Alexandria library, I recommend taking a scanner because it may be too heavy for the time machine. LOL

Have a great and productive week.

Lol, nah I have a big time machine!

Have a great week...I hope you will be back for the #weekend-engagement topic on Friday.

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Hey! I think I'm a little late for this, I have not much time to think! Mmmm I guess I would go back to the summer of 2017, my best friend went on """vacation""" to Spain, but then she didn't come back. We didn't have a legitimate goodbye, because I didn't think she would stay there. One option is also to go to the future when we can see each other again, I had a good time with her, she's very crazy.
With the pandemic, my passport expiring soon and how slow is to do a legal process in this country... I better go to the future!

Not too late.

Seeing friends in the past or future seems like a good way to utilise a time machine. What if you get there in the future and they are a different person, moved on, and you're not as attracted to each other though? I guess you could go back to the past when you were if that happened though. 🙂

!ENGAGE 25

If I found a time machine I would go to the United States in 1928 because it is before the Great Depression started and I would like to experience by myself what was happening and what they were thinking about at that time to sink the economy in that way and so learn about specifically what not to do.

There is a lot of talk about a crisis in these times but that was a dark moment that I personally would like to learn about, and that I could look for any way to short the economy in that moment of the history.

Also that a few years later would start one of the most regrettable stages in world history but that I would also be interested to see, how it felt and what was talked about during those years.

Understanding events from the past can help prevent them happening in the future...Although despite us being able to see documented history quite clearly humans often repeat the mistakes from the past. Maybe having a time machine and seeing it first hand might help it sink in.

!ENGAGE 25

One thing why we need to experience things is that if we have a great negative emotional link to what happened, that is for sure that we will make it not happen again.

Still, it has to be by first hand experience so as soon as we are not in control of what happens (like a century later), then we humans can fall again by the same stone

OMG, I actually dreamed about making a time viewing device, where you can look through the eyes of people, even in photos, to see people's past. Then while viewing through their past, through their eyes, you can connect through the eyes of people there, to keep going back, and back, through history.

In my dream, I want to see

  1. What happened with JFK? Through various eyes to know what really happened.

  2. Ancient Egypt. To experience how life was, and how they built the pyramids.

They would be my first two, tip of tongue, destinations.

I actually dreamed about making a time viewing device, where you can look through the eyes of people, even in photos, to see people's past.

This would make a good movie!

This is an interesting concept...The ability to stay where you are but see through others' eyes in other times. Nice thought. There's a book there!

Yep, the pyramids are interesting enough to make me want to go back and see how they were built, and by whom.

I'm a historian and so all this stuff fascinated me...Hence the topic.

Nice entry!

!ENGAGE 25

It's prompted by the fact that we have memories. We inflate, conflate, etc with our influence, but, there must be a recording of it, right? Or is it just chemicals in the brain?
Wouldn't it be amazing if we can access the magnetic tape of our minds! Review, for important things, like, where DID I leave my keys? :)

Lol...I have been known to look everywhere for my sunnies...Except on my head where I put them last. Some magnetic tape memory would be good. 😂

Also, you just want to be a Pharoah!!

Always pays to be the top dog.

Tom Petty said it best: It's good to be king...

Yes, clearly...Still, for many king's it didn't turn out so well...I'd still rather be the king than the village idiot though. (These days, in politics at least, they are one and the same though.)

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Yes indeed. They would be amazing insights wouldn't they?

I thing Google, Apple and Facebook already have this covered, there's a few tweaks coming in the next raft of updates to complete the grand vision...

Time machine, I've always thought about it.
First, I'll definitely travel to the future to see how things are especially in my country and know the best things to invest in.

If I were to go back to my past, I'll go back to 2009. I'd make plans to leave the country with my younger brother because he died in 2010, maybe a proper healthcare system would have saved him. I'd also advice my people against voting for a certain president, imagine voting in a person that ends up keeping malice with his own people, a total mute that only embraces terrorism. I'll also tell my maths teacher how much I hate him, all he taught me was quadratic equation for 3years and it made me a maths dummy in university 😭😭 He flogs and yells at us like goats...
Before I forget, I'll also like to know the events that took place in history especially slavery, I'll also buy bitcoin🥳🥳🥳

That sounds like a few good things to do with your time machine.

It's interesting to think about all the things we could change in the past to affect the future. We should remember that the present allows us to do some of those things and actually change things moving forward.

!ENGAGE 25

You're so right, thanks a lot for this

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Yes my friend, thinking about your 2009, I imagine we all have similar times we would like to revisit, to change events a little, sadly life only allows us to move in one direction though huh? If there's one good thing, it's that you carry a part of your Brother forward within you always, those memories that you shared exist within you forever, they are yours :)

Yes it would be cool to know the real story behind great events of history, wouldn't it?

Stopping off to buy Bitcoin on the way back home is on all of our minds I think lol.

Take good care and have a great week :D

Thanks for reading, have an amazing week too

Egypt, 3500 BC.

I want to know how that pyramid was built, and what they were doing with thousands of tuning forks!

Would I meet aliens, or just skilled folk from Atlantis? To the machine!

I think that would be a popular choice...I'd meet you there and we can both investigate then enjoy a nice lunch of dried figs, flat bread and grapes. (Ok, so I don't really know what they actually are...Sounded legit though.)

!ENGAGE 25

If I went that far back I'd like to try something different - grilled locust perhaps? :)

Sounds tasty...Not.

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

and what they were doing with thousands of tuning forks

Probably using them as a form of torture

Possible, but what if everything had a note/frequency and finding it allowed you to move the object with ease?

Like the Brown note

I built the Pyramids, I took heavy machinery with me in my time machine, I had got the contract on a previous time trip. They were so happy with my work I got another gig in Luxor building a underground house for a guy they called king Tut.

ha :)

King tut tut tut, he's cheating again with the heavy machinery!

'Experts' say today's machinery doesn't cut/drill as accurately as whatever did the job 5500 odd years ago :O

https://www.gizapower.com/

Well the diamond cutters we used were pretty good but minor adjustment had to be made, i'm a perfectionist.

I do like a nice pair of diamond cutters :)

I wish I had know I would have brought them back for you, I left them in a yet to be discovered tomb just to freak out future archaeologist's.

Dim shit I just got what you meant:)

It's probably just loadsa people from the future who are there building structures that they know will baffle us for eternity...

Would I meet aliens, or just skilled folk from Atlantis? To the machine!

Maybe, just maybe the only person there would be the grand-miner himself... Satoshi!!!

Actually I first wrote about going to Ancient Athens to meet with famous Philosophers too. But i noticed that @zacknorman97 wrote about it.

Ok Let me tell my new story.

If I had found the time travel machine. I would go to Altamira Cave in Spain 35,600 years ago. (The documents say that the oldest cave painting is here.) And I would put a sign of my self and be famous =P. (Actually This can't be happen because this nick would be used many time before me) =) I would meet with cave women =). And many of people would be my grandchildren. LOL I heard that cave women are passionate.

bidesign_Altamira_Cave.jpg

Ancient Greece and Egypt would be popular choices I think but then the lure of wanton and passionate cave-girls in short bear skins is pretty hard to refuse huh? If you went back to prehistoric days and hooked up with some you could make yourself the father of all modern mankind. A slightly frightening thought. 😂

images.jpeg

Not a cave in sight...But then, it doesn't matter does it?

OH Mum not again put some clothes on.

Haha...Mum's can be so embarrassing at times! Lol.

She's out of control, look what she did at a school fancy dress day.

image.png

Look...Based on this photo I think I'd better meet your mum, give her a good long...Talking to.

When in time are you thinking of doing this, or have you already? DAD is that you?

Glad that my mum doesn't use hive.😊😋

haha, or maybe she does, what shocks lay around the corner😱

I hear ya Bro... If had a Hive for everytime I had to say that exact sentence! :D

haha, she's a nightmare:)

I will give my reward to you if i won something in this contest. =P

Actually I won't because modern mankind can be glad to be my grandchildren. It is slightly frightening thought being Galen's grandchildren.

Note To My Grandchildren,

Oneday if you reach this content by datamining. You can be proud by how your grandfather Bidesign struggled with cruel Galenkp to make you richer.

Kidding. Hope it is funny for you too.

Haha! Note to my future grandchildren... :)

😊😅😜

Oh no... It's the plot-line for the back to the future movie they keep threatening us with!

Yeah! So passionate. If you can just get past the chunks of mammoth between her teeth, the whole 1 million years till the invention of the toothbrush and the fact she hasn't deodorized that underarm wig, ever then it'll be a blast...

OK. You Changed my mind. I would go to far future and meet with cyber women =P

Now you are talking.... She has super advanced abilities I hear 😁

You look like a character from a scifi movie with those glasses. :)

Lol...Yeah...That's my steempunk look. We were visiting a steempunk museum in New Zealand. It was amazing. I did a couple posts on it last October. That was a full-sized steempunk locomotive behind me. Was pretty cool.

Oh so creative! Love it! I will think!

It really depends on how many trips I could make. I am always thinking it would be great to go to back and see what really happened at several points in history. This could help clear up some confusion.

If only trip is allowed, I might just go back to the mid 70s and invest in several up and coming companies. I could do a lot with the earned interest from this. Like buy the time machine and make as many trips as I wanted.

Lol...One trip, invest then come back to the futire a wealthy man and build a time machine that makes multiple trips...Gold! No way to lose.

I like this idea a lot but I know my memory, I would probably invest in Betamax, Blockbuster video and Toys R Us...

You can also be sure that if I left it till a later time and went back to buy Bitcoin, I would return with Bitconnect and Doge...

Aaargh. I bloody knew I had missed something!!! Sorry mate, I saw this from your post today. Bang another 20 on from me!!!

It's all bang and boom with you isn't it?

I imagine you are a very noisy lover neighbour. Always putting a shed up, building a penny farthing or trying to make a scale model of the large Hadron collider...

I made a scale model of the Hardin hadron collider! We created a small singularity which bent space-time to such a degree that it flung me back in time to the turn of the century. I quickly pretended to be satoshi nakomoto, wrote the bitcoin protocol then paid a man a pretty penny to wish me back to my own time in a delorean!!

Whew, what a day that was.

You were uhmmm trying a few for a new beer review weren't you???

Come on Boomy, what was it called, let me think, we've had trippy cake beer, Gina G's G spot and witches finger nipple ah yes I know, it was...

Tawdry tardis extra strength, right?

That sounds like a beer I could enjoy!!

Consider it banged. (Now get your ass working on your entry!)

Haha!! I was looking at it and thinking!

Bang ahoy!!

Thank heavens for time travel...It means your transfer was perfectly on time.

Consider it banged.

Ugghhh shudders I have some pretty appalling memories of the last time I heard that phrase...

You should write a post about your consider it banged memoirs. 🍆

"Consider it banged, Tony two calzones, put a hit out on Carlucci..."

Dunno why that sounded like Mafiosa slang lol :D

I want to join the engagement but I am afraid I can not go back in time with time machine.

My stupidity might ruin the whole world's future. I might push a wrong key back there and the present will be a total mess.
I will not nominate any one even with the highest IQ with the purest heart either.

These present time has been forged and polished by time and chaos to be as it is right now.

You nudge a stone back there and the earth will be totally different from what it is right now.

Some wise-men from the future come back in time and became a prophet. But people from the present time will go back in time to make a profit.

So the developer of earth made sure that the past is tamper-proof. Only the developer has the root access to its blockchain.

Ah ok, maybe next time there will be a topic that you feel able to respond to.

So I put my answer on the right post lol I was confused why there were few comments on the other one... no need to vote on it since you did on the other thread!

Besides the normal stuff, going to the past thousand years and stuff, I think my first two trips would be to visit my grandmothers and if I could without ruining the laws of travel etc. get to know them as the grandson one of them would never meet and the other one she would barely get to know.

My dads mom died when he was 12 so that was a really big point in his life and he speaks of how wonderful she was but I obviously never got to experience that. If I could just have one day with her, I think it would be totally worth any money it would cost for such time travel stuff. I would love to tell her at the end of my visit that she raised an excellent son that has been an incredible father and husband. It would be challenging to leave but it would be something I could do to put her at ease.

My other grandmother died when I was about 5 or 6 but my only memory of being around her was Christmas one year when I think I was 4, I remember running in their hallway with the plane she bought me. I’ve heard she was a loving woman but I unfortunately don’t remember it, given I was so young. I would like to spend a day with her, watch her sew that she was famous for and cook with her and her popular dinner parties.

After that, I think I wouldn’t be entirely sure what to check out first. There are several times I would like to visit but what one guest would be challenging.

Oh man, these words are beautiful, I'm sure we all have similar wishes about certain people and memories from our past.

Funny how things like this would be worth any ammount of money and transcend all the matrial things we could ever imagine.

According to my beliefs, they both see exactly how you have turned out and likely feel all the love and pride that you would hope they would. In my belief system, it is we who live here who don't really get to gaze upon the face of those whom we would dearly love to.

Take good care and have an awesome week my friend :)
