For a few days, my son wanted to have some Potato Chips but I did not have that. Due to the corona outbreak, I could not go outside. So, I was thinking about what to do? Then my wife told me to go on youtube and find something about cooking Potato Chips. So, I spend more than 3 hrs and finally found out an easy way to prepare for kids. The best thing is the process is very easy and only need a few ingredients.

- Potato chips invented in 1853 by Chef George Crum.
- Chips gained widespread popularity in the 1920s.
- The world celebrates Potato Chip Day on March 14th.
WHAT IS NEEDED:
- Potato
- Vegetable Oil
- Black Piper & White piper powder
- All-purpose masala
THE PROCESS:
First, thinly slice the potatoes & soak it on water.
Wash them until all the potato starch come out and the water becomes clear. It will take 5-7 wash to do that. Then, strain from water and let them dry. make sure to not leave any water. Use a paper towel or dry it using a fan.
Medium hit the oil. Put the potatoes on the oil. But don't make the oil too hot, it will burn the potatoes.
Flip and move with a spoon. You can put a good amount at a time, it will not make the chips bad.
Strain from oil and plate it. Put some back & white pepper powder. You can use a little amount of bit salt, tasting salt, and all-purpose masala if you want. I have used 'Maggie masala'. And, it's done. Good to go just like packaged chips.
