El pasado jueves 1ro de Diciembre se llevó a cabo la celebración del aniversario del liceo donde trabaja mi hermana @hannymarchan, y yo como buena farandulera que soy decidí infiltrarme y acompañarla a dicho evento, sobre todo porque ella me había comentado semanas atrás que los estudiantes harían una especie de expo feria donde presentarían algunos trabajos, como juegos didáctico y periódicos murales, así que aprovechando que ya estoy de vacaciones, me animé a ir con ella por lo que el día de hoy les cuento un poco de toda esa experiencia.
Last Thursday December 1st was the celebration of the anniversary of the high school where my sister @hannymarchan works, and as a good showgirl I decided to infiltrate and accompany her to the event, especially because she had told me weeks ago that the students would make a kind of expo fair where they would present some work, such as educational games and wall newspapers, so taking advantage that I am already on holiday, I decided to go with her so today I will tell you a little of the whole experience.
Como ya se ha vuelto costumbre en nosotras últimamente, salimos tarde de nuestra casa y al inicio pensamos que estábamos llegando retrasadas, sin embargo nos dimos cuenta al llegar que en realidad no era así y que recién darían inicio con las primeras actividades, las cuales eran de tipo cultural, sin embargo yo aproveché éste tiempo en el que todos los estudiantes estarían en dichas actividades para tomarle fotos a los stand, ya que por propias experiencia sé que al dar inicio sería imposible capturar una buena foto de ellos.
As it has become a habit for us lately, we left our house late and at the beginning we thought we were late, however we realised when we arrived that it was not really like that and that they would just start with the first activities, which were of a cultural nature, however I took advantage of this time in which all the students would be in these activities to take pictures of the stands, because from my own experience I know that it would be impossible to take a good picture of them at the beginning of the activities.
Debo decir que todos los stands tuvieron una presentación estupenda, se nota el esfuerzo que hubo por parte de los estudiantes para decorar y organizar el material que iban a presentar, todo acorde a los temas que estaban exhibiendo, aparte se sentía un ambiente navideño muy lindo pese a que la expoferia no trataba de éste tema en concreto, pero ustedes ya saben, cuando ésta época del año llega la mayoría la adopta con facilidad. Aunque como bien mencioné, todos los stands estaban preciosos, no pude evitar tener unos favoritos 🤣, como por ejemplo el que hablaba sobre la economía en Reino Unido, cuya decoración me dejó fascinada.
I must say that all the stands had a great presentation, you could see the effort made by the students to decorate and organise the material they were going to present, all according to the topics they were exhibiting, and you could feel a very nice Christmas atmosphere despite the fact that the expo was not about this specific topic, but you know, when this time of the year comes, most of us adopt it easily. Although as I mentioned, all the stands were beautiful, I couldn't help but have a few favourites 🤣, like the one about the UK economy, whose decoration fascinated me.
No logré pasar por todos los stands, pero por aquellos que sí pude, de verdad debo felicitar a esos chicos porque sé que estar allí exponiendo sobre algún tema no es fácil, y cada uno logró desenvolverse de buena manera pese a los evidentes nervios que estaban sintiendo. Hubo incluso venta de productos de limpieza, realizada por los chicos conjuntamente con la docente de química, y de verdad que fue un evento muy bonito, me recordó bastante a mi época de liceo, cuando se hacían expoferias y presentaciones al final del año escolar o para éstas fechas de navidad, y el cansancio que representaban esas actividades 🤣, pero que al final te dejaban con una satisfacción súper grande.
I didn't make it through all the stands, but for those that I did, I really must congratulate those kids because I know that being there exhibiting on a subject is not easy, and each one managed to perform well despite the obvious nerves they were feeling. There was even a sale of cleaning products, carried out by the kids together with the chemistry teacher, and it was a really nice event, it reminded me a lot of my high school days, when there were expofairs and presentations at the end of the school year or for Christmas, and the tiredness that those activities represented 🤣, but at the end they left you with a great satisfaction.
Fue una experiencia bastante chévere, no había tenido la oportunidad de ir a una actividad de éste tipo y no ser la que está exponiendo, sino por el contrario ser la espectadora, aparte que hubo comida y la comida hace feliz a todos 🤣🤣.
It was a pretty cool experience, I had not had the opportunity to go to an activity of this kind and not be the one who is exhibiting, but on the contrary be the spectator, apart from the fact that there was food and food makes everyone happy 🤣🤣.

Wow, the children made a nice design with the UK flags. I love them and they are nice. Just wish I was there to see other stands. Thanks for sharing the program here for someone like me
