Nuestras mascotas también se merecen sus accesorios, es por ello que el día de hoy les estaré enseñando a realizar un moño o pajarita para gato, aunque también sirve para perro, que es sumamente fácil de hacer y que además tranquilamente puedes coser a mano, así no hay excusas.
Our pets also deserve their accessories, that is why today I will be teaching you how to make a bow tie for cats, although it also works for dogs, which is extremely easy to make and you can also sew it by hand, so there are no excuses.
🐱 MATERIALES || MATERIALS 🐱
- Tela preferiblemente no elástica.
- 1 botón.
- Cinta métrica.
- Tijera.
- Hilo.
- Máquina de coser y Aguja.
- Fabric preferably non-elastic.
- 1 button.
- Tape measure.
- Scissors.
- Thread.
- Sewing machine and needle.
🐱 COMENCEMOS || LET'S GET STARTED 🐱
Comenzamos cortando dos rectángulos, el primero de 20x30cm y el segundo de 4x9cm, de igual forma cortaremos una tira que tendrá 5cm de ancho, y de largo tendrá el contorno del cuello de nuestro gato + 6cm.
We start by cutting two rectangles, the first of 20x30cm and the second of 4x9cm, in the same way we will cut a strip that will be 5cm wide, and the length will be the contour of our cat's neck + 6cm.
Tomamos el rectángulo mas grande y enfrentando el derecho de la tela, coseremos por el ancho, luego daremos la vuelta y ubicaremos la costura justo en el centro (si quieren pueden plancharlo un poco).
We take the larger rectangle and facing the right side of the fabric, we sew across the width, then we turn it over and place the seam right in the center (if you want you can iron it a little).
Esta tira que se acaba de formar la vamos a cerrar para obtener un circulo, esta pieza la vamos a reservar un momento y trabajaremos ahora con las otras dos piezas.
This strip that has just been formed we will close it to obtain a circle, this piece we will reserve it for a moment and now we will work with the other two pieces.
La tira que cortamos y el pequeño rectángulo los vamos a coser como si fuese un “sesgo”, es decir los laterales de cada pieza los levaremos al centro y luego lo doblaremos a la mitad, y cosemos por todo el largo, de esta forma obtendremos dos tiras.
The strip that we cut and the small rectangle we will sew them as if it were a "bias", that is to say, the sides of each piece we will lift them to the center and then we will fold it in half, and we will sew along the whole length, in this way we will obtain two strips.
Tomamos de nuevo la pieza del moño y justo en el centro vamos a realizar unos pliegues para forma el moño, así como les maestros en las imágenes. Con aguja e hilo vamos a fijar estos pliegues, para ello clavaremos la aguja por todo el centro (asegurándonos de atravesar todos los pliegues), luego enrollaremos el hilo y finalmente clavaremos nuevamente la aguja para asegurar.
We take again the piece of the bow and right in the center we are going to make some folds to form the bow, as shown in the pictures. With needle and thread we are going to fix these folds, for this we will stick the needle through the center (making sure to go through all the folds), then we will wind the thread and finally we will stick the needle again to secure.
Sin cortar el hilo del moño lo vamos a coser en el centro de la tira que irá en el cuello de nuestro gato. Luego tomaremos la tira más pequeña, la enrollaremos en el centro del moño y por detrás la cosemos a mano, de esta forma tapamos la unión del moño al collar.
Without cutting the thread of the bow we are going to sew it in the center of the strip that will go on the collar of our cat. Then we will take the smaller strip, we will wind it in the center of the bow and we will sew it by hand at the back, in this way we will cover the union of the bow to the collar.
Finalmente lo que queda es coser el botón y hacer el ojal, aunque esto lo podemos sustituir por cierre mágico.
Finally, what remains is to sew the button and make the buttonhole, although this can be replaced by a magic clasp.
