It's the autumn and a sharp cold snap. The evenings are getting longer. And drinking hot tea I open the album of my memory.
Last year my friend invited me to visit his native lands in the South of Ukraine (Mykolaiv region).
And I especially remembered the trip to the Activsky Canyon.
The village of Aktove is located a kilometer from the canyon. It is exceptionally wonderful. All the houses here are painted in blue and white. Near each fence there is a bench in the shade of acacia or mulberry. People are friendly and willing to explain the way to the canyon...
Mighty granite rocks hang over the small river Mertvovod. In their outlines you can see animals and people's faces and just something abstract.
The river with the gloomy name Mertvovod (Deadwater) is actually clean, warm and friendly. In some places the current is forced to fight with large stones. Natural "jacuzzis" are formed in these places. You can swim here for a long time.
And outside the canyon there is a steppe. Many flowering herbs grow here, including medicinal ones. While my friend was collecting St. John's wort, I had time to walk on top of the canyon, admire the landscape and even create a poem!
That day passed very quickly...
I dream of coming back... There is still a lot of unknown.
Осінь. Довгими вечорами за чашкою чаю хочеться згадувати цікаві літні дні.
Минулого року мій друг поет Сашко Обрій запросив мене в гості у його рідні краї на Миколаївщину. Особливо мене вразив похід до Актівського каньйону.
Могутні гранітні скелі нависають над маленькою річкою Мертвовод. У їхніх обрисах можна побачити і звірів, і обличчя людей і просто щось абстрактне.
Річка зі похмурою назвою насправді виявилась чистою, теплою і привітною. Подекуди течія змушена боротись із великими каменями. В цих місцях утворюються "джакузі". Важко змусити себе звідси вилізти. Мимоволі порівнюю Мертвовод з карпатськими ріками – там теж є каменюки і бистра течія, але значно холодніша вода!
Навколо каньйону – степ. Тут росте чимало квітучих трав, зокрема лікарських. Поки мій друг збирав звіробій, я мала час погуляти, помедитувати і навіть створити вірш!
Саме село Актове знаходиться за кілометр від каньону. Воно чарівне. Всі хатки тут помальовані блакитним та білим. Біля кожного паркану є лавочка, в тіні акації чи шовковиці. Люди привітні і охоче пояснюють дорогу до каньйону ...
А з іншого боку села протікає річечка Арбузинка і є ще один, трохи менший, але також живописний каньйон – Арбузинський. Його фішка – великі рожеві гранітні брили, які за день набирають тепла від сонечка,а ввечері на них можна лежати і милуватись зоряним небом.
День проминув дуже швидко... Я мрію повернутись, бо тут ще багато незвіданого... Рекомендую їхати сюди на 2-3 дні!
