The witch (La Bruja)
Esta película se estrenó en el año 2015 dirigida por Robert Eggers, de genero terror sobrenatural, su elenco tiene actores muy reconocidos y realmente buenos.
Esta comienza con una familia que está compuesta por el padre la madre y sus 4 hijos y uno que viene en camino, ellos fueron expulsado del pueblo donde Vivian por diferencias religiosas. Por ende, ellos se dirigen a un bosque y construyen su propia granja, la Madre da a luz a su 5to hijo llamado Samuel, estando todos felices por la llegada del nuevo miembro de la familia, un día la madre le dice a su hija Thomasin que cuide de su hermanito Samuel siendo este un bebe, estando ella algo lejos de la granja empieza a jugar con su hermanito haciendo un juego de taparse la cara para luego destaparse y hacerlo reír, en eso desaparece él bebe, Thomasin desesperada lo consulta con sus padres, estando todos preocupados empiezan a buscarlo por todo el bosque.
Luego vemos a una bruja que fue quien secuestro al bebe, donde se le observa matándole para luego utilizar su sangre y su grasa para preparar un ungüento para volar.
Desde la desaparición de Samuel, los gemelos Mercy y Jonas empiezan a decir que su hermana Thomasin es bruja, y que ella fue quien mato a su hermanito, los padres desconcertados le pregunta que porque dicen eso, y ellos contestan que Black Phillip (La cabra) les dijo eso, desde ese en entonces empiezan a suceder cosas paranormales y empieza a trastornarse todo oscuro.
The witch
This film was released in 2015 and was directed by Robert Eggers. It is a supernatural horror film, its cast has very well known and really good actors.
It begins with a family that is composed of the father, the mother and their 4 children and one that is on the way, they were expelled from the town where they lived because of religious differences. Therefore, they go to a forest and build their own farm, the mother gives birth to her 5th child named Samuel, being all happy for the arrival of the new member of the family, one day the mother tells her daughter Thomasin to take care of her little brother Samuel being this a baby, When she was a little far from the farm, she started to play with her little brother, playing a game of covering her face and then uncovering it to make him laugh. When he disappeared, Thomasin desperately consulted his parents, who were all worried and started to look for him in the woods.
Then we see a witch who kidnapped the baby, where he is observed killing him and then use his blood and fat to prepare an ointment to fly.
Since Samuel's disappearance, the twins Mercy and Jonas begin to say that their sister Thomasin is a witch, and that she was the one who killed their little brother, the parents, puzzled, ask her why they say that, and they answer that Black Phillip (The Goat) told them that, from then on, paranormal things begin to happen and everything begins to get dark.
¿Porque deberían verlo?
Primeramente si eres como yo, que difícilmente las películas de terror no te causan miedo, y la mayoría no te parecen buenas, sin duda esta película es para ti, porque está en comparación a las demás en cada escena de suspenso te pone la piel de gallina , te causa tensión miedo por lo que va a pasar, incluso sientes que estás ahí sintiendo cada emoción que trasmiten los demás personajes, te dejas consumir por la curiosidad de saber que pasara después, es realmente espeluznante créanme yo la primera vez que la vi no pude dormir, soñaba con Black Phillip (La cabra).
Razones para verlo, la trama, el sountrack, el elenco, la paleta de colores, las ediciones, todo en serio todo está bien hecho, fusiona a la perfección para hacernos sentir temerosos y causarnos algo de miedo.
Why should they see it?
First of all, if you are like me, who hardly ever fears horror films, and most of them do not seem to be good for you, this film is certainly for you, because it is compared to the others in every suspenseful scene, it gives you goose bumps, it causes you tension and fear of what is going to happen, You even feel that you are there feeling every emotion that the other characters transmit, you let yourself be consumed by the curiosity of knowing what will happen next, it's really creepy believe me the first time I saw it I couldn't sleep, I was dreaming of Black Phillip (The Goat).
Reasons to see it, the plot, the sountrack, the cast, the color palette, the edits, everything seriously is well done, it merges perfectly to make us feel afraid and cause us some fear.
¿Cuál es mi opinión personal?
Sinceramente como les mencione anteriormente difícilmente las películas de terror suelen gustarme, por dos razones, la mayoría suelen ser malas y no me dan miedo, sin embargo “La Bruja” es una película que no me hizo gritar de terror, pero me causo miedo real, de soñar con los personajes, de no querer dormir sola, eso me hizo darle un valor a la película, ya que realmente hicieron un trabajo estupendo con todo, lograron trasmitir las emociones que ellos querían, es una película que volvería ver sin duda, 100% recomendada .
What is my personal opinion?
Honestly, as I mentioned before, I hardly like horror movies, for two reasons, most of them are bad and do not scare me, however, "The Witch" is a movie that did not make me scream in terror, but it caused me real fear, of dreaming with the characters, of not wanting to sleep alone, that made me give a value to the film, because they really did a great job with everything, they managed to convey the emotions they wanted, it is a movie that I would see again without a doubt, 100% recommended.
