Four Commandments To Make Your Day Positive

If you are under stress and facing problems, it's the way of life to tell you that you need to wake up and find your true potential.

So what do you do on a day when you feel down, unmotivated to do anything?

You try to think positive?

And that’s exactly what I did today. I challenged myself to write and only write positive thoughts.

And this is what came out of it.

You need to retrain your brain one word at a time, one positive thought at a time.

Practise positive talks. Don’t think about why you can’t do something. Instead think how you can make it work.

How we talk and think creates our reality.

Every time you tell yourself you can’t do something or you believe that you don’t have the required skills to do it, you are convincing yourself that it is not possible for you.

For example, if you don’t know how to write, or how to paint, you can at least try. If you say you can’t, you won’t be able to do it ever.

A lot of times we make our mind believe that we can’t do something because we haven’t done it before.

But usually things are not that hard to do.

Especially these days when everything is available online.

If you hear yourself talking about how you can’t do something, just stop.

Stop and think for a moment.

Say something like this, I have never done this before but at least I can try.

When we think for a long time that we can’t do something, we start believing it. And it makes us feel like a failure.

However, if we believe that things are possible, regardless of our past experiences, we will add hope and do it.

Hope is a powerful drive.

Most problems don't stay for a long time.

Think about your life one year ago, five years ago, ten years ago. You were facing different kind of problems then. Most problems don’t stay for long enough.

Nothing is permanent in life. People, money, circumstances, everything changes with time.

Make it a habit to face your problems one at a time. Most people lose hope because they try to tackle all of their problems at once.

Stop blaming luck and circumstances, it’s your life and only you will be able to change it.

If you have a problem, invest your time in finding the solution.

Life is never perfect, everyone has problems. Some complain about it, some find solutions.

You are addicted to prediction.

Will it work this time? Should you try it once again?

You are constantly looking ahead trying to figure out what’s going to happen before it actually does.

And it creates anxiety. Embrace the uncertainty and you will live in the moment.

When you stop searching for certainty, a lot of stress will simply melt away.

Life is an adventure, it is absolutely filled with opportunities.

The only thing that’s guaranteed in life is that it’s uncertain.

The funny thing is no matter how much you chase certainty, you will never hold it or retain it.

Expect nothing and accept everything.

Sadness comes from the gap between your expectations and your reality.

The greater the gap, the worse you will feel.

Once you cut out the expectations, you solve a lot of complications in your life.

We love to predict and plan for everything, but it’s not possible.

These expectations not only have a negative effect on our emotional state. They actually make us less powerful.

Making us feel like a failure when we don't achieve something.

It’s quite effective to live in the moment and accept everything as it comes.

We want to feel that we control our fate.

But when our minds are ruled by these chaotic thoughts, are we really free to choose our fate?

Life is most wonderful when we live in the present and accept the future as it comes.

Instead of thinking about how things didn’t turn out the way we wanted, simply accept them for what they are.


Stop doing things that are not beneficial and start doing things that will help you.
