¡Hola, hive! Cuando me pregunto si seré fanático o melómano hablo del hecho de cómo puede gustarme tanto un grupo musical para llegar al punto de usar ropa identificada con algún logo de dicha agrupación y hasta querer saber sobre la vida y aspectos personales de los integrantes que la conforman. ¿Es esto fanatismo o soy un simple melómano a quien el simple hecho de amar la música le hace querer y hacer estas cosas?
¿Cómo te identificas? ¿Fanático o melómano?
Yo personalmente creo que soy amante de la buena música y, en consecuencia, de sus intérpretes; siento mucha admiración por algunos artistas de distintos géneros porque, efectivamente, considero que hacen buena música, sea un cantante o alguna banda. En el caso de los cantantes me gusta conocer la historia tras el personaje que solo veo en escenario; esto incluye a los músicos que le acompañan. Debo hacer referir uno de mis cantantes favoritos, al que sigo desde que tengo uso de razón y consciencia musical.

Esta es una muestra de lo que les digo. Claro, si nombrara a todos los artistas que admiro tendría que hacer una lista muy larga, porque creo que hay muchos que merecen admiración, pero no quisiera dejar por fuera a la que creo que es una de las mejores bandas de Venezuela, como lo es Guaco.
Aquí sí dejaría de llamarme fanático o melómano para decirles que soy Guaquero. Un Guaquero es una persona que no solo escucha las canciones de Guaco sino que vive su música, su historia y se interesa por el aspecto personal de los integrantes de su banda. Yo, por ser músico, disfruto tocar sus temas, y estudiar sus patrones musicales característicos y ejecutarlos.

En mi vida he escuchado que el fanatismo no es bueno; creo que no es absolutamente cierto, menos tratándose de música y si esta aporta algo positivo en ti. Entonces me considero melómano y fanático pero de la música, la cual amo.

When I ask myself if I'm a fan or a music lover, I'm talking about the fact that I like a musical group so much that I get to the point of wearing clothes identified with the group's logo and even want to know about the life and personal aspects of its members. Is this fanaticism or am I a simple music lover who, simply because I love music, wants and does these things?
How do you identify yourself? Fanatic or music lover?
I personally believe that I am a lover of good music and, consequently, of its performers; I feel a lot of admiration for some artists of different genres because, indeed, I consider that they make good music, whether it is a singer or some band. In the case of singers, I like to know the story behind the character that I only see on stage; this includes the musicians that accompany them. I must refer to one of my favorite singers, whom I have been following since I can remember and have been musically aware.
This is a sample of what I'm telling you. Of course, if I were to name all the artists I admire I would have to make a very long list, because I think there are many who deserve admiration, but I would not want to leave out what I think is one of the best bands in Venezuela, as is Guaco.
Here I would stop calling myself a fan or music lover to tell you that I am a Guaquero. A Guaquero is a person who not only listens to Guaco's songs but also lives their music, their history and is interested in the personal aspect of the members of their band. I, being a musician, enjoy playing their songs, and studying their characteristic musical patterns and performing them.
