RE: On Publishing 101 Articles on Hive — Hand To Heart, Thank You Hivers!

in OCD4 years ago

My goal was always to share and learn while helping at least ONE person.

I'm pretty sure you've helped many.

101 articles! Phew, a big number indeed. So you've posted almost daily and seeing how meticulously you write and format your posts, they must have taken a lot of time. Did you ever find it hard sometimes to pick up the keyboard? Or the idea of writing seemed dreadful?

Thank you! So glad to see you here.

YES. Easily over 500+ hours.

Did you ever find it hard sometimes to pick up the keyboard? Or the idea of writing seemed dreadful?

First part? No. That's because I enjoy the process of wrting. The second part, when the idea is not clear? I find it very difficult to continue.

I need to find the right idea. That's my primary goal. Then writing is easy. Perhaps this is why I make sure I have enough ideas in my bank — so I can skim through them everyday and then pick one based on the context.

This is also one of the reason I am starting a couple of series, so I don't have to invest heavily into new ideas. Hope this helps.

Are you stuck somewhere? Or just curious? :)

I see! A bank of ideas does seem like a viable way to go.

I was curious mostly. I mean, I do suffer from writers block like many other but I'm quite sure about the topics I will write on eventually.
