Well no need to do that, I had a look and it's not like you're attempting to "abuse" autovotes or anything so cross-posting onto other communities - especially if you're doing it from an alt to not abuse autovotes - is probably welcomed there. We're just attempting to mitigate the usual abuse that comes with it from other users who may not be as careful as you are and to encourage a more "curation" aspect from it by letting other users share the posts of others instead.
So please don't take this negatively to discourage you to use the feature as it wasn't meant to be that way. :)
You see @ocd-witness, there are texts which can be interesting for the people in more than one community. Unfortunately, I can send original post to one community only, and go to SteemPeak cross-posting only from @the-real-betman account. So, that was the only way to present my posts to OCD community, which does not have specialized theme.
The solution may be that cross-posted posts should have an exclusion from rewards, and actually be just a way of resteeming the post to all communities where you subscribe.
