A fire broke out at the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul of Nantes (Cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul de Nantes), I hear across all media channels today. I recall we visited the city few years back, as well as the magnificent cathedral. Here are a couple of shots from the year 2017.
Exterior
A sumptuously decorated portal with two red doors. You cannot walk through though.
Interior
Stunning. The wooden doors from inside.
The nave of the cathedral.
The nave with the organ.
The aisle of the cathedral.
I hope the fire does not cause any significant damage to this gorgeous cathedral from the 15th century.
The photos were taken by less performing smartphone camera.
