Challenging the ocean every day!

A breaking wave here to welcome you to this story!

No risk in life will see no success in life!

But of course one should always calculate a risk and if the danger is loss of life, then it becomes so much more intricate.
I will show you here what it takes to go out far into the ocean and to face the deep water waves head on.
All of this just in an attempt to catch the big fish!

To catch the big fish one has to take risks!
He is far out on the last rock facing the deep waters!

NEVER turn your back upon the sea is the message!

A lovely breaking wave where I stood in the shallows!

Thought that you would also like this shot above!

Right, here's another guy on his way to that far rock where you saw the first guy up above!

120.JPG

One slip here and he will have to swim, but these guys are real pros!

121.JPG

I think that they should wear lightweight helmets in case they fall, as banging their heads aginst a rock underwater could result in serious injuries, or even drowning!

123.JPG

Right, he has made the rock and now stood surveying the area to see where to cast his bait!
If a big wave collects him off that rock he will have to swim and lose everything trying to get back to shore!

Finally, here we have a Kelp gull cruising on his way!

Amazing what risks some of these guys take and I spoke to the first guy in the post here. He has been doing this for years and was swept off that rock a few times by the waves.
Now he said that if ke sees a big one coming, he kneels down behind the rock.
Kneels down behind the rock? I didn't ask him how 🙂

Instead I asked him why he stopped fishing and he said it's no use on the day as there is a cold Atlantic stream flowing across the face of the rocks.
Again, I didn't ask him how he knew that 🤣
I love to ask questions, but at times one has to appear to know something, else the guy will know that we are imports.

Note: All photos are my own and photoshopped. That flying seagull was in fact a turkey that I edited into a seagull hahaha.
Just a test to see if somebody reads this!

Jokes aside, the photos are all mine, unedited and cropped for uploading purposes.

Amazing photography! The flying bird photography is awesome.

Thank you and glad that you liked the post!

Great shots. It seems kind of dangerous to fish upon those rocks... a slight slip and they can get themselves into a world of trouble. 🤔

Thank you Sir, and the one guy told me that he was smacked off that rock a couple of times.
On one occasion badly, but they have to feed their families; and they have been doing it for years.

Amazing!!! They should try rope walking! 🤣

Hahaha, they will make great trapeze artists.

Late here, so good night my friend and thank you for the visit!

A turkey heh!
You would have to be skilled to be fishing in those conditions bu fortunate that they are able to fish right off the shore like that!

Hahaha, you are the only one to comment on the Turkey. Just shows how many actually read a post.
Yes they have been doing it for years and one can see their experience.
Blessings!
