Stunning clouds and mountains on show today!

The mountains whispered on the wind; "Come and look!"

Beats me how anyone can sit at home when mother nature decides to put on a show.

This post is also meant for #wednesdaywalk hosted by my good friend @tattoodjay and his lovely partner of #makemesmile fame @lizacheng

She knew that I was going to peep out of the window this morning and she stacked a cloud just so that it would prickle my interest. Not often that two opposing winds take each other on in a full encounter and whenever this happens, the clouds have to endure much shape alterations

Always a spectacular show!

The early morning rain has stopped and the sun was busy with the drying process. Time for us to jump in our car and to make a short trip to the mountains!

A majestic rise at the end of the road and I always enjoy this view!

Seems that the nucleus of the cloud is here balanced between the two winds!

This is the view towards the western side of the mountains!

Now, how can one not love this view?

A skein of geese decided here to try and form their own cloud Lol. Here's your smile Lady @lizacheng

Whah! The wind from the eastern side seemed to be winning the battle, as the cloud was slowly shifting across to the western side!

So what is it that I see in nature? Why would I spend hours hanging around out there, disregarding the cold and the wet to watch an aimless battle of clouds in the sky? Or to sit for hours staring at a mountain that I have seen 100 times before? Surely it is madness running about aimlessly camera in hand chasing after butterflies and grasshoppers? Or to mimic the call of a bird so well that the bird will come and have a look?

There is a hidden life in nature that resonates with my soul. A life that touches all of us in different ways, or to different degrees depending on the world views that we hold, amongst other factors. Dust I am and to dust I will return. Time will erase the footsteps that I have left once I am absent from this journey in life and I will once again become a full part of this mystic that we call nature. Why should I then regard myself better than others? Does a tree regard itself better than a thorn bush? No, a tree opens it's arms for all to come and sit in it!

Sorry, I am in one of those meditative moods tonight. I look at what we as human sapiens do to each other and I cry inside. Everyone has a different view about this Covid virus thing, mostly negative and I wonder what the trees are thinking about the worms that eat into their flesh. Life is what it should be and so sad that as mankind we are trying our outmost to change life to suit our own views!

That's it! I have said enough and I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures. Thank you for visiting a post by @papilloncharity

Beautiful Photos!
I was thinking the same thing about wandering around aimlessly with my camera watching the clouds, birds, butterflies and such, wondering if it was a waste of time. Then I thought how could it be if it brings me such joy! And as you say

There is a hidden life in nature that resonates with my soul

Yeah thank you and once that hidden life is found, it refuses to leave one.
Most definitely not a waste of time as it also helps us to look at life with a different light in our eyes.
Not from this world, but rather from the unseen!
Stay well my friend!

Nature never upsets, it is balanced only taking what is needed to live, opposite end of the scale sit humans.

Keep these relaxing lessons in life photography rolling, positive in opposing thought or action with good reason.

Sharing my soul with the nations my dear friend. Trying only to bring a wee bit of understanding.
Blessings!
