It's been a while that I've been thinking to write and share a post about this subject.
And if we judge by my last posts from at least about 15 days ago, it is seen that I've already been trying to do this slowly like if using a tight eyedropper since then.
In almost each one of my posts from that date till today. Yeah, check them out! I invite you to review them all. These are just eight without counting this one today.
But well, perhaps because it is that now due to the fact of the announcement of the back to classes that begin to unfold all over the world. That I have decided to publish this post today a little more direct and less cryptic than usual for my dear audience.
Since then, I have been talking to you about artificial intelligence, automation, the middle class, the fourth industrial revolution, a world without jobs and the future.
Yeah, the future and all that, among many other things. But it is very likely that due to my most recent post in which I've tried to Memetize My Readers, that after that, most probably I have encouraged myself today to publish this post in a more clear fashion and more eloquent way in all its splendor.
¡Let's start the lecture!
First of all, I suppose we all already know and we should be well aware that the educational system at world-wide level is something that is and remains highly obsolete from long time ago. Even more evident in these times of pandemic.
Through the course of all those 12 years of General School, read it primary and secondary or if you prefer, Kindergarten, Elementary School, Middle School & High School. Years which go usually since we are around 5 to 17 years old. It is and has been more than clear that absolutely no one has teach us ever, through all those early years, simply to Learn or How To Properly Learn to think by ourselves.
That's the main reason why most of the young people upon entering college or university, irremediably crash helpless with a whole new reality. Everyone without exception during those previous twelve years, have been trained only to memorize crap and thereafter immediately regurgitate all those useless notions, tales and bunch of concepts like a brainless parrot exclusively to pass the exams. That's it.
Oh yeah, but you are pride, pretty boy. You always went through the years with high grades, awards, diplomas, medals and stuff without actually have learned a single shit. Well, at least learned anything of value, useful and helpful for your future life until you crashed against that tough reality and solid brick wall of paradigm change right after you enter to college. And briefly after, also having to face adulthood.
I have seen and lived all that from the first row and very closely by myself. And also saw all this happening again to my dear childs too.
Hence, this pervasive & pernicious big problem is still here. In our everyday life day to day. Right under our nose and still quite healthy and rattling on nowadays. This current educational system is still failing miserably despite its inefficient existence and its harmful insistence to prepare and train the new generations for a new world, society and workforce which ceased to exist long ago.
A past world and aged society of the so-called generation of The Baby Boomers.
Who were previously mainly educated & indoctrinated for and into a different world with life experiences that have long since disappeared in the twenty-first century.
And curiously and unfortunately, these very same Baby Boomer's generation are actually today the representatives and has been and still are the current Teachers, Professors, Instructors, Tutors, Lecturers and Trainers for the generation of the future. A brand new generation of the future already integrated by other species, other specimens, another flora and fauna, another different culture with a singular way of thinking. Yeah! simply new living entities with a newer mindset.
But that by fortune, with the new advances of science, technology, communications and the internet. Happily most of them now are already fully aware of the evident pitfall that that archaic, obsolete and old previous generation currently on top still intend & pretend to keep imposing and apply to them.
Insisting on continuing creating and forging an inexhaustible generation of merely dumbass docile employees who must and will have to live forever under the wing and care of a great company or corporation out there. Yeah! such as in which they were also so trained for a now defunct workforce and nonexistent similar society.
Welcome Generation X (born between 1965 & 1981), Generation Y or Millennials (born between 1982 & 1994) and Generation Z or Centennials (born between 1995 until today). ¡The future is yours! And also with it the responsibility to make the necessary changes in education. Developing new Teaching and Learning methods and strategies according to the new times still to come.
Creating new bases of continuous knowledge, awareness, growth and prosperity among your fellow men. Revolutionizing and creating new and more rewarding spaces and environments for a healthy life in common. Decontaminating, healing and further strengthening the great planet that saw you born.
Perhaps only so, you can dream and guarantee to still have a tiny place which will keep spinning where we all can really live a little bit more healthily, happily and probably longer. I trust in you. I know that you can and you will!!!
Although by then, I am probably no longer present to applaud you and congratulate you as you deserve. Being me nowadays a faithful representative and also an active member of The Baby Boomers generation myself. But in my case, a different one, a vanguardist one, an open mind one, a sharp sighted one, a very conscious one.
Yup! you can bet with all certainty that I've been a tireless observer and explorer. An odd daredevil experimentalist and rebellious questioner. And undoubtedly, perhaps an incurable audacious renegade, maverick and outlaw until the last of my days.
Yeah! a heartily vigorous and indomitable cultivator, exerciser, executant and preacher of the CURIOSITY above all.
Of course, it is not and won't be really the truth that will set you free. You know?
This has always been, is and will always be the C-U-R-I-O-S-I-T-Y that will set you free and will keep you alive until the end of your days. Just Keep Trying!!
