Solar eclipse in India & crescent shaped shadows

in OCD4 years ago (edited)

Everyone from around the globe enjoyed the solar eclipse in their respective countries. I've seen some picture from Korea shared by @mineopoly and those were some Beautiful pictures.

The IST for the solar eclipse was told between 9.00 A.M to 3.00 P.M.
It was told to us that not to look the solar eclipse through our naked eye or esle our eyesight might get a permanent damage. And also there are some other precautions that some village peopes told us to follow. Like not to eat anything during the eclipse, it will effect our digestion (I know that doesn't make sense).

I found some strange shadows on the ground during the eclipse. At first I didn't knew what were they but they look like the shape of half moon. After doing some research I came to know that This is created by the Earth’s atmospheric winds. The sun has been reduced to such a small light source that it is able to cast shadows of the atmosphere’s ‘detail’ on to the floor

Here are some pictures that was took during the eclipse.
