In my previous blog post, I shared the basic symbols and abbreviations commonly used in crocheting. In this video, I'll be sharing a tutorial on the basic crochet stitches.

These are the fundamentals of crocheting and learning about these basic stitches will bring you a long way in your crocheting journey. Chains for example are the most commonly used foundation on various crochet projects. On my next videos and blog entries, I will share all the other foundation stitches I have used in my crochet projects.

I also inserted the symbols and abbreviations on each of the stitches in the video just in case you missed my previous post.

I hope you learned something new in this tutorial. Feel free to leave a comment or share this post to your friends who wants to learn more about crocheting.

Video is very well done and easy to see and follow. I am right-handed so it was interesting for me to see how it works from the left hand.

My mom is right handed and she was the one who taught me how to crochet. I can only imagine how hard it was for her to guide me. lol. Now she's the one requesting for crocheted items from me. Talk about reaping the fruits of her hardwork. :)
