Today I came back home after a week of vacation and some days at my parents in law summer house. When I was a kid, August was a "death" month. Everyone was out on vacation and the city was empty. As years passed by, this tendency was disappearing as many stores kept open and businesses could not afford to close and scheduled their staff vacations to remain open.
This year, due to covid19 restrictions for so long, it seems everyone could not avoid going away for a few days or is at the beach as the city is by the Mediterranean. so the small town looks empty again after so many years. It does not invite you to start working 😂
Lol I think even the streets need a break from people every now and then. The few of you who are now can relax and enjoy genuinely fresh air
