In the very center of Smederevo, there is a "Wine Town". This interesting corner is made up of houses made of authentic barrels and barrels of several hundred years old, as well as alleys that bear the names of wines that have made this area famous since ancient times.
In order to give Smederevo the epitome of the famous vineyards, the "Smederevka" brand and the reputation of top wine producers, winemakers gathered in VinoGrad
from Smederevo and its surroundings. Here, from 9am to 3pm you can buy wines and brandy from our local producers.
The Deputy Mayor of Smederevo, Bojan Teofilovic, opened the Wine City.
He reminded that Smederevo now has several wine cellars of the famous name, which have reached medium capacity, and the City of Smederevo will, as before, help local winemakers to be recognized on the map of Serbia, as he said, as a city of vines and fruit. , apples and peaches.
Opening ceremony of the Wine Town was attended by representatives of public and cultural life, representatives of wineries and citizens of Smederevo.
In the Wine City, during the 126th Smederevo Autumn, a presentation, tasting and sale of wines by famous Smederevo winemakers was organized, accompanied by music in the open air.
