Hey guys, it the 90th day of my journey on HIVE. It's also the first day of the month which means it's the HIVE PowerUp day. I haven't had time to post frequently for the past few weeks, however, I haven't forgotten about the first day of the month.
HIVE Power Up day is an event that happens on the first day of every month. The event organized by some awesome people and encourages you to power up as much as you can and stop powering down if you are doing it. It's a very great initiative. Here are some of the rules.
1 - Reputation score - must be greater than 39.00 but below 70.00 (so 69.99 is good & Can participate but 38.99 is not)
2 - Hive Power - must be greater than 100HP but below 8000HP (prior to HivePUD).
3 - Time - must power Up HIVE on JULY 1st, 2020
4 - Post - must make a post about powering up on July 1st with the tag #HivePUD.
Last month I stood the third position by powering up 1127 HIVE. That was my biggest power up yet and I don't think I can top that for quite some time now. Nevertheless, I'm joining the cause by powering up to 300 HIVE.

That puts me at a total of 2780.035 HIVE power. I'm quite happy with the results so far. Not only did my voting power increased, but the curation rewards have also significantly increased. The highest I've received in a day is 1 HP which is pretty awesome. This will help me further increase my HIVE power in the long run.
What's my target?
The goal is to reach beyond 5000 HP and morph into a dolphin before the end of this year 😄. I'd say that's quite achievable.

I would have to ask the developers to make a voice recognition software for dolphins. 🤓
You'll have to live your life underwater 😰. Do microphones work underwater? Will your laptop work there? By the way if you're gonna turn yourself into a dolphin I recommend you check out Atlantis city, I've heard they have the best seafood in all 7 seas

Yes I hope that too. For now I want to accumulate as much HIVE as possible and when it does moon, I hope to make some passive income. 😄
That's the dream that we all have. The rest of the crypto scene is showing some bullish signals, with BTC and ETH being the star of the show. The latter of which has seen some huge double digit gains recently because of Decentralised Finance, which Ethereum is the biggest chain to build on. Since Hive is intertwined deeply into that decentralised movement, I hope that it'll catch on to here as well! 😁
I don't own and pay attention to other cryptos at all. The only time I owned bitcoin is to convert it to HIVE. This is the only project that I'm really interested in. 😄
Ah, interesting. It's never wrong to focus on one thing at a time, and your dedication to Hive is pretty great! But my advice has always been to spread your eggs into a few baskets, maybe branching just a little bit here and there. But given the risks out there, you always have to watch out for which ones are good, and which ones aren't :-D
Although I agree with spreading the assets, I want to give all my focus for HIVE right now. It's also due to the fact that HIVE is my very first crypto and also because I'm in a weird situation right now where I'm struggling to find any spare time.
Once I'm happy with my position here on HIVE which I think will be after 5000 HP, I might consider looking into other crypto as well. :)
Ah, I didn't know that Hive was your foray into crypto. It's your money, and the best investment strategy should fit into your current situation in life as well. I can't wait to see you become a dolphin :-)

Another solid power up this month, I'd say you'd get to dolphin by the end of the year quite comfortably at this rate! Hope I can get to Orca by the end of the year too, powering everything up!
