The New Moves with the Masks IV

in OCD4 years ago

For some weeks now social life has returned to a "new normal". What has changed? Let's have a look...

Restaurants are open again, but of course people have to keep their social distance. The tables are spread out with about 2 m space between them. People do not have to wear masks when they are seated, but are required to do so when they walk into the restaurant. Are rules always being followed? How useful are these rules to stop a virus from spreading? I am thinking about the people that smoke and you can see their exhaled air for meters around them... it's like this for everyone, but their breath is not visible.

It would seem that the rules aren't followed that closely...

People are encouraged to disinfect their hands. It's something that has been shown to be very useful in stopping the spreading of viruses, but they make the hands quite dry. It would also seem that not everyone does this and that perhaps there is a certain group which favors this behavior...

People standing in lines is something very common nowadays. On a really busy day they can get unbelievably long. Would you wait for 20 mins just to get into a store?

It's nice of you to offer to remove any of these pictures. But a public place is a public place. A restaurant is a grey area.

noted, thanks for the input

I guess this will be the new normal for a while - until the Covid-19 virus is completely eradicated. Unfortunately, that might still be a long way to go. :-)

It’s all for psychological purposes! Just to meme people feel safer and that they had done their parts! It’s all for show!
