What do you know about Hell?

Hi, my dear friends!

I try not to write about the war. There are many people who can do this much more professionally. I am not a journalist, and I see no point in repeating the news that you can read on news sites. And perhaps my blog is perceived by me as an island of safety, as something from a past life where there is no war.

This dog's name is Krym (Crimea). His photo has gone viral on the internet. The dog sits on the ruins of the house in which his entire family died. He is confused, shell-shocked, does not understand what is happening ... and he cries.

Dog, named Krym, standing on the ruins of a house after russian missile strike. A family of four, including mother, grandmother and two children dead.

Here is what Boris Filatov, mayor of the Dnieper, wrote

I don't know where to start.
I write, but my thoughts are confused.

Today I saw Hell from the inside.
Sometimes it seems to us that the war is near, but it does not concern us.
Or touches, but will pass by.
I will tell you today's story.
What happened on the street next to us.

Story of injustice and God-forsakenness.
The story of the fate that dominates our lives.
A story before which the tragedies of Aeschylus fade.

There lived a family.
When the war began, the mother decided to move the kids from Polya Avenue to a safer place.
To the private sector. To Grandma.

Today a Russian rocket flew into their house.
The funnel that you all saw in the photos is about 8 by 10 meters.
People literally evaporated. Grandmother Alla, mother Natasha, daughter Vasilisa and boy Ivan.
And little dog Jack.
No. I will be completely honest. Some didn't just evaporate.
They were found on neighbors' rooftops.
On neighboring streets.
And when the rescuers arrived, the old dog Krym was sitting on the ruins.
And howled.

Each of us understands that every day can be the last. No one knows if he will wake up in the morning. No one knows if he will see his family and friends again. During the seven months of the war, we have learned to live with it. We have learned how to live, plan the future, raise children. Because if you focus on what is happening around you, you can go crazy. I am afraid to imagine how the father of this family, who defended our country from Russian fascists, returned home. It must be so incredibly painful for each of us, because God shared his pain on all of us, because one person cannot bear this.

As for Krym, now he is in a veterinary clinic. He is being taken care of and we all hope he survives.
