Since I had such an awesome response to my recent #ThrowbackThursday post, especially from my mom and Aunt Mary, I decided to skip my planned Sepia Saturday post and do a #SentimentalSaturday set instead. And fair warning - there might be a #SentimentalSunday coming up tomorrow as well. 😊
This time though, I have fourteen shots (it's how many I ended up with after four pages of scans) with a couple of color among the monochrome. And just like last time, these are all from the bankers boxes in our upstairs hall labelled, "Mom and Aunt Mary" and feature childhood shots of them and my maternal grandparents, Nana (Genevieve) and Grampy (Robert) Souza. They were all taken either in Gloucester, Ma or during vacations in New Hampshire. And while I did do some light editing, I tried not to do too much, in the hopes of keeping the old school print photo vibe.

1. Left to right - little boy, Aunt Mary, Mom
2. Aunt Mary in the yard on Chapel Street. There's actually a date on the back of this, of the "This is a KODACOLOR PRINT" that says it was printed during the week of June 21st, 1954.
3. Mom as a toddler
4. Nana (Genevieve) Souza in New Hampshire. She's standing next to the path leading to a view of the Old Man of The Mountain in Franconia Notch State Park, a sight that is sadly no longer available, as the Old Man's profile fell off the mountain on May 3rd 2003.
5. There's actually writing on the back of this photo that says, "Mary, Jean, Lois, Dad, Joan, Eleanor"
6. Not sure who this glamorous lady is, but I recognize this as my grandparents living room. There's another version of the "KODACOLOR PRINT" date on the back, but I can only make out April, not the year.

Not sure exactly what's on my agenda today. Need to clear my desk so I can sort photos. I have been thinking, for a while... of going through my mom's baby album of me...
