Weekend Vibes | Creamy Soya Chaap "An Authentic Indian Dish" Detailed Recipe - Malai Soya Chaap

Hello Foodies,

Welcome to my blog, today on the menu is a very special and famous dish that is very much liked by people of Northern Part of India.

Soya Chaap - Malai!!

The dish is amazingly tasty and very healthy as the ingredients in the dish are low in calorie. The recipe might seem long but is very easy to prepare even the cooking takes very less time, the marination takes the main time. Let me start with the ingredients first.

Ingredients :

  • Curd 250 Gms.
  • Cashew paste - 2 Tbsp.
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp.
  • Onions and Capsicum - 2 each (roughly chopped).
  • Mint and Coriander Sauce.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Chaat Masala 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Black Pepper 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Garam Masal 1/2 Tbsp.

Firstly, Add curd in an open vessel.

Add Mint and Coriander Sauce to curd.

Add Ginger Garlic paste.

Also, add spices and stir.

Also add Cashew Paste. Stir is well and keep this aside and we will do our next bit.

Remove the stick from the chaap.

Put the chaap in the mix for marination.

Keep all the chaap pieces in the marination. Leave it for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, Roughly chop Onions and Capsicum.

Put Onions in the pan to fry.

Also add capsicum to fry.

Once the Veggies are half cooked place it in a plate.

Now take the marinated chaap and put it in a pan to fry.

Add all the sticks to fry.

Once the chaap is fried, put it in a plate and cut it into pieces.

Now keep the pan on low flame, add the half-cooked veggies. Also, add remaining marination to the veggies.

Once the sauce is simmered, add chaap pieces to the sauce.

Stir it well and Close the lid. Let it cook for 5 minutes on low flame.

Seems ready. Let's Serve it with garnishing.

Here is the delicious Malai Chaap is ready to eat!!

You can also serve it with Indian Style Bread.
