Lately I have had the need to talk or tell you how these two years of my life have been in terms of things that I like to do and that I enjoy. I think that having a hobby or a passion independent of what it is, is extremely important for any person.
Tener una actividad que de verdad te gusta, que te diviertes hacerla, así sea por un corto tiempo al día, de alguna manera te hace sentir bien, en muchos de los casos te hace despejar la mente y simplemente te hace sentir feliz. Pues bien, en mi caso, mi pasión principal es la música, me encanta tocar la guitarra acústica, de vez en cuando cantar y sacar canciones nuevas con mi primo. Crecí en una familia de músicos, la mayoría de mis familiares por parte de mi papá son músicos, tienen un talento increíble y a medida que crecía podía percibir el don que tienen, fue entonces que desde muy pequeño me enseñaron a tocar varios instrumentos, entre ellos (Cuatro Venezolano, Bajo eléctrico y Guitarra acústica).
Having an activity that you really like, that you have fun doing, even for a short time a day, somehow makes you feel good, in many cases it makes you clear your mind and simply makes you feel happy. Well, in my case, my main passion is music, I love to play the acoustic guitar, sing from time to time, and take out new songs with my cousin. I grew up in a family of musicians, most of my relatives on my dad's side are musicians, they have an incredible talent and as I grew up I could perceive the gift they have, it was then that from a very young age I was taught to play several instruments, among them (Venezuelan Cuatro, Electric Bass and Acoustic Guitar).
Ahora bien, en estos últimos años he estado ligado y apegado mucho a dos hobby que me encantan bastante, como lo son la fotografía y el ciclismo, estas dos actividades van muy bien de la mano, inclusive hace muy poco pude comprarme un bici nueva para salir e ir a explorar nuevos paisaje a lo que pueda capturar con el teléfono móvil. Me gusta la idea de llegar del trabajo, cambiarme y salir a rodar la bicicleta, como lo he mencionado en otros post, no es simplemente salir y rodar, va más allá de eso, el tan solo el hecho de poner mi canción favorita y empezar a despejar la mente de problemas e inquietudes es unas de mis actividades preferidas sin duda, gracias al ciclismo he conocido nuevas amistades y nuevos lugares.
Now, in recent years I have been linked and attached to two hobbies that I love a lot, such as photography and cycling, these two activities go very well together, even recently I was able to buy a new bike to go out and explore new landscapes to what I can capture with the cell phone. I like to get home from work, change and go out to ride my bike, as I have mentioned in other posts, it's not just going out and riding, it goes beyond that, just putting on my favorite song and start to clear my mind of problems and concerns is one of my favorite activities without a doubt, thanks to cycling I have met new friends and new places.
En cuanto a la fotografía he aprendido un monto de cosas referente al tema mediante a tutoriales, muchas horas he estado viendo videos sobre las cosas básicas y en como editar las fotos. He aprendido sobre la composición, balance de colores, la regla de tercios (muy importante) entre otros. Gracias a estos conocimientos básicos de la fotografía, he podido capturar paisajes hermosos o incluso hacer fotos retratos a mis amistades y así ellos la suban a sus redes sociales y las presuman. Disfruto y aprendo cosas nuevas cada vez que realizo estas actividades que me llenan y me gustan, por eso pienso que es importante tener un hobby o una pasión.
As for photography I have learned a lot of things about the subject through tutorials, many hours I've been watching videos about the basics and how to edit photos. I have learned about composition, color balance, the rule of thirds (very important) among others. Thanks to this basic knowledge of photography, I have been able to capture beautiful landscapes or even take portrait photos of my friends so they can upload them to their social networks and show them off. I enjoy and learn new things every time I do these activities that fill me and I like, so I think it is important to have a hobby or a passion.
Espero mejorar mucho más en estos hobbys y así dominarlos muy bien a futuro, de alguna manera todas las personas tenemos ese talento especial en algo en específico, ese algo que nos hace sentir capaces de hacer lo que nos gusta o nos apasiona y si no sabes aun cuál sería tu hobby, sal y búscalo, con el tiempo te sentirás mucho mejor contigo mismo.
I hope to improve a lot more in these hobbies and thus master them very well in the future, somehow all people have that special talent in something specific, that something that makes us feel able to do what we like or we are passionate about and if you don't know yet what your hobby would be, go out and look for it, with time you will feel much better about yourself.
Créeme, buscar tiempo de calidad para ti y distraerte te hará sentir mejor de algunos problemas, te hará pensar y en reflexionar en las cosas que has hecho en el pasado y en las que piensas hacer a futuro, te ayudara a tomar mejores decisiones, ya sea en el trabajo o en tu día a día, pensar en valorar y apreciar las cosas que tienes y que otras personas quisieran, es importante que te des cuenta de ese tipos de cosas.
Believe me, finding quality time for yourself and distracting yourself will make you feel better about some problems, it will make you think and reflect on the things you have done in the past and the things you plan to do in the future, it will help you make better decisions, whether at work or in your daily life, think about valuing and appreciating the things you have and that other people would like, it is important that you realize these types of things.
