There are a few things that are right in front of you but you just can't see it. Even though your eyes are wide open, yet they manage to escape your vision.

Inoli is one such place which is located just around 25 kilometers from Mangalore. You could say it is right in our backyard. Yet, we never knew about it because we never bothered to explore the inner routes that lead to these places.

One of the popular MotoVloggers of Mangalore, Mr Arun Kumar organized a meet up for his subscribers today. The location he decided was Inoli's Shri Somanatheshwara Temple.

My friend Ganesh shared me the details of this meet up and I decided to join in with my friend Chris. I started at 5:45 am from my home to reach the rendezvous spot which was Pumpwell flyover at 6 am. At sharp 6:05 am we started off from our rendezvous point towards the location.

The road to get there were butter smooth with enough twists and turns to keep me (or any biker) satisfied and engaged.

After almost half an hour we reached the spot. The location treated our eyes with the view of the beautiful Nethravathi River on one side and the Somanatheshwara Temple on the other side.

There were 52 of us like minded people gathered to discuss travel and motorcycles. Arun was a really good host and most of us really enjoyed the ride and meet. It was quite refreshing.

Some of the guys even said this was the best way to celebrate Diwali!

After the temple spot, we rode down below the hill to the bank of Nethravathi River. It was a sandy patch where most of our bike was sliding, slipping and wheels spinning.

That was the fun part about the challenge to see how many of us could ride on the sand without much assist. Mine and some other light bikes could manage it quite well.

You can see the trail marks of the tyres in the below drone shot.

Some of the heavier bikes like Royal Enfield were struggling in this bit and needed pushing by atleast 4 people.

That's one main reason why I don't prefer heavier bikes like Royal Enfields and Harley Davidsons.

Anyways, that aside, meet the man who organized this meet and greet, none other than Mr Arun Kumar:

And here's a picture of the river bed where almost close to 50 bikes were parked.

After a bit of drone video and photo sessions, all of us headed back home. Myself and a few other bikers headed towards the famous Vardhaman Hotel for tea and breakfast.

Here's the bunch of us:

After this, we exchanged our numbers, instagram IDs and then headed our own ways. Next week we would mostly be planning another ride together and that would be some fun trail run!

Thanks for reading,
Stay tuned for the next one!
