In 2015, Bill Gates talked about a likely fear of a pandemic in his lifetime and in 2019, there came flu like pandemic. The tragic event everyone was scared of before the pandemic was a war and as usual, in other not to have a world war, the world decided to create a lot of organizations just to maintain peace. Institutions such as the United Nations, World Health Organization and so on.
The pandemic started from China and went through all countries but was higher in Europe and the United States. The testing for the virus has been going well and currently there is a vaccine, thanks to pfizer.
It is no doubt that we weren't prepared for a pandemic but when we get out of this pandemic, we need to hold ourselves together as a world and start fighting against outbreaks in the future.
In case there is another outbreak, can the world curtail it? Can we get through another outbreak without it getting into a pandemic in the future. Would it not get into exponential growth the way it did with the Covid-19 pandemic?

I think it is very difficult to be prepared to face a challenge of such magnitude as a global pandemic, I think you are never prepared, nobody expects something like that, however I think there are lessons that can be learned from the current pandemic.
