The Lock Down and the Life After.

The Covid-19 brought about change to the whole world, it brought rise and boom to a lot of companies, brought bankruptcy to a lot of patch up companies who were not prepared or whose product required contact, and it brought economic recession for a lot of countries, from the US, UK, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Nigeria and many more. The pandemic changed a lot of things from the rate at which money is printed which is higher compared to previous years, the way people interact, the way people meet and do ceremonies, the way people do business and so on.

Unlike in the past, this generation has made it easier to become a self made millionaire, there are 18.6 Million millionaires of whom 80% are self made. In the past, industrialist and manufacturers were seen as the powerful and wealthy, countries with oil were regarded are rich countries because they had resources needed bu everyone around the world. This made countries like Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Kuwait, and other middle east countries very rich but the pandemic changed the way wealth is viewed. It proved that power had gone to the internet, technology and not oil. Companies like Facebook, Google, Alibaba, Tencent, Amazon, Zoom, and many more and countries like China, India, United States, South Korea, and so on.

Data now is the money generator for the world and the world now deals with the internet and the demand for it is increasingly high. The pandemic gave rise to a lot of industries including the logistics and delivery industry. A lot of people depended on this for getting their goods and product to places. People now prefer to shop online instead of getting cut in the middle of a flu like pandemic. The lockdown made the old type of shopping go down a little and the online market rise which also led to a growth in delivery.

The world is transitioning to the world of tech using delivery drones, self driving cars, as well as artificial intelligence in making life easier. There are less people who want to have physical contact in businesses also which will make a lot of people transition to the world of the internet and the world of data.

It is quite interesting, really, to see how far and how fast our society is changing in the face of a pandemic. While African societies are very likely to return to normal, it might take Europe and Asia and North America longer time to recover.

Good writing.

That's very true, these countries are likely to take a very long time before they recover.

i am really interested to see the effects after the pandemic. how the economy will be and what does that mean for us? what trends companies will keep? etc etc

Things have changed and they will continue to change.

Life will continue as usual after this crisis that might end in 2021.

Hello friend, certainly the pandemic changed our lives, nothing is the same anymore, we can no longer leave our homes without a mask, but as everything we have to adapt, we always end up assuming the changes and accepting them. Technology came to life today, thanks to it many people were not left without support for their homes.

It is a radical change that we have and continue to live this year. For those of us who are in contact with technology, all these changes are a plus.
