At present, and in view of the weight that in cryptographic finances, those who do not relate to DeFi in some way have a tendency to fall a little behind.
I believe that for a long time BTC and the slow transactions could be the main problem for a massive adoption.
DeFi comes with a proper use case. We need more economic and easy DeFi interfaces. It will evolve along with time.
