Morning Run 5km Loop Day 3

I just finished a 5.244km running that lasted about 0hh:50mm:38ss !

New Subdivision

Jogging/walking past this new subdivision always amazes me at how fast new houses are built these days, and to think this large land area used to have a high school on it not too long ago.

This is a common scene in New Zealand, schools are closing down as people are having less children these days. Not only is this common in cities/suburbs but also out in the rural regions. The changing times we will see some historical landscapes disappear which is a shame.

Todays run started of well until I hit the 2km mark I got some real pain on my shin muscles, is this shin splints ? I need to do some research as this was really annoying.
