Introduction
The Hive blockchain has lately made news for its unique use of technology to advance social causes. One of the most recent projects is the hive health outreach, which includes free eye screenings and evaluations in a Ghanaian community, as well as free medicine delivery to those in need. This initiative exemplifies how blockchain technology can be utilized to make a significant difference in people's lives.
This exercise was inspired by the numerous hive borehole projects in Ghana, which led us to support a Ghanaian community with health outreach. Its success prompted us to plan for expanded outreach in communities where people, particularly the elderly, have health problems but cannot afford to buy drugs. This was strongly influenced by a group of in-house physicians @nattybongo and health workers in the hive-ghana community, as well as @mcsamm and @collinz, who supervise the majority of the hive's current activities in Ghana.
The Hiveghana community is full of people who want to utilize their talents and experience to give back to the community. This future event has been determined to concentrate on the residents of the chosen town's eye care, blood pressure, and sugar level. This is due to the fact that it is a serious health condition that affects a large number of Ghanaians. a report from the World Health Organisation, an estimated 1.1 million Ghanaians are visually impaired, with cataracts representing the major cause.
The project's initial step was to put up a free eye screening camp in the neighborhood. @mcsamm @collinz @nattybongo @awuahbenjamin @zicogh @kreativita has collaborated with local health authorities and eye care specialists to find the most efficient screening techniques and processes.
Hundreds of neighborhood people came forward to have their eyes tested at our most recent hive health campaign. To detect any flaws and establish the best course of action, the team employed a range of tools and strategies. To address the illnesses of individuals who need further treatment, the team supplied medicines for free and medication sponsored by @mcsamm and @collinz. The pharmaceuticals were secured via collaborations with pharmaceutical firms who shared the team's dedication to increasing healthcare access.
Free hive health education
The hive-ghana community has arranged a hive wellness examination for the inhabitants of Agona Bedomase in the Ashanti area on Monday, May 1, 2023. This has been arranged with the town's chief, elders, and community leaders to help improve the residents' health. Thank you to everyone on the team who has worked tirelessly to make this possible. Because the day is a national holiday in Ghana, it is expected that the majority of people will attend the event. People from neighboring towns have expressed an interest in participating in this exercise in order to be treated by hive health professionals.
However, major mainstream media outlets that have covered hive empowerment initiatives in Ghana have announced their attendance at the upcoming events. To further boost our promotional efforts, hive-branded items are being created as freebies for community members who will participate in this free health outreach organized by Hive. We are pleased to assist provide Ghanaian communities with free medicine from the hive in order to enhance people's lives while also promoting the hive ecosystem in Ghana.
The next free hive health outreach will provide free reading glasses to the elderly and others who will have difficulty obtaining glasses for their usage in order to have a significant effect. This will happen once everyone has had their free health check. Medications will also be provided to people who have diabetes or high blood pressure. The medications and supplies obtained by our in-house physicians and health workers are quite effective in assisting us in achieving this goal.

The initiative has had a long-term influence on the community, in addition to the immediate advantages of eye examination and medicine delivery. The team has worked to build a culture of health and wellness by increasing awareness about the significance of eye care and making it available to everyone. They have also proved blockchain technology's ability to encourage social values and generate positive change.
