Judy was the last daughter of a family of herdsmen and from a young age she had had to deal with such a world, populated mainly by rough men forged by the elements and by the toil of an ancient job. Crebbe con l'atteggiamento di voler essere al loro pari, una donna che poteva fare tutto ciò che facevano gli uomini, senza sconti o favoritismi, fiera e coraggiosa come i suoi fratelli.
