This week battle challenge is using soulstorm to win a battle, this card is one card i love to use when using the death splinter due to its amazing abilities that makes other monsters in the battle weak.... It is a common monster but with the kind of stats it has, it qualifies being an epic or legendary card.... i do love to use it along with the legendary mimosa..
Soul Harvesting is forbidden by the Dark Eternals, but some still practice these evil ways. Often, a Soul Harvest goes wrong, leaving the victim's soul forever doomed to wander the Splinterlands with no body. These wandering souls gravitate toward one another, forming sinister clouds. These clouds are known as Soulstorms, and if you see one coming, run.
Let us talk about those abilities that makes this card outstanding..
This flying ability gives it higher chance of evading attacks from non flying monsters and it doesn't get affected by the earthquake rules that takes two life from non flying monsters life..
The snare ability takes away the flying ability from flying monsters and can't miss, this is very useful in earthquake rules when the opponent comes with flying monsters.
The headwinds reduce the ranged attack of monsters having the range power attack and along with mimosa it normally reduce the enemy with range monsters useless in battles.
The stun ability can be so deadly if it work effectively, as it stop the monsters hit by it from fighting in the next round and in some certain rules, it could cost the monsters more than expected...
Here are the four amazing abilities by soulstorm which makes it formidable , so i had a battle with #taug in champions league and i made use of mimosa along with soulstorm and some other monsters that fit in the rules of the battle..
LINE UP
- LORD ARIANTHUS
The lord of war himself have no other suitable place than to lead the war, i always use it in the front due to his four unique abilities which are the shield, thorns, magic reflect and void, i planned using mimosa to weaken the enemy monster so i also use lord arianthus for its shield to counter my defence... it actually work greatly as my opponent monsters couldnt hit him well and some couldn't even hit him at all...
- CORNEALUS
This is a neutral card that i also love to put in the second place, due to my mimosa and soulstorm killing the range attack of my opponent, i knew he might come with snipers so i placed cornealus there due to his return fire ability and it work perfectly as my opponent comes with two snipers.. even if he had come with more than two snipers, cornealus can take good care of them..
- CORRUPTED PEGASUS
I needed a healer to support lord arianthus at the front and the death splinter only had one healer which is corrupted pegasus and it is also the best healer for the rule set as if possible the enemy was able to take down the lord arianthus then kron will fall at first place and the pegasus will be able to attack at the second place due to his reach ability...
- SOULSTORM
I knew the chance of the opponent coming with range attack monster is high so i also use range killing monsters and soulstorm was among the monsters i select to get the job done and it performed in the battle along with its stun ability...Along with mimosa the opponent was weak...
- FALLEN SPECTRE
The fallen spectre also has an ability that reduce the opponent range power that rendered the opponent range attack very useless in battle, immediately i saw the set up, i knew i was going to win cos the enemy monsters attack was so very weak!
- SHADOWY PRESENCE
I use this monster to add on more life to all my monsters and also strengthen my corrupted pegasus ... it also has a long life that can delay the opponent incase it comes with sneak monsters..
I love using the soul storm in battles and i use it often in the champions league account that i play cos it is a very good card and with its fast speed, it is a terror to behold!

Nice Battle Challenge post. I would put a divider graphic or a horizontal line in between the monsters that have images left and right. That way you get them properly aligned.
