Being a player on splinterlands made me realized some things about life, some inspirational quote that can help one to move far in life..
Keep trying till you become the best
Oh yea, i am not the best player on splinterlands but i am far better than when i started, if i was not dedicated to the game, i won't have acquired the skills and tactics i have now, i am also proud to say i have ended up at top 4 twice since i started playing shoemanchu account three seasons ago and the top 3 is just right ahead of me, i just need to keep pushing, it may take me weeks, months or even a year to get to the top 3 but as long as i do not give up, there is a big chance of me stepping there someday!
losing only make you stronger
No winners became one without suffering from so many losses, failure is something we can't avoid on our way to becoming successful in life, so whenever i lose a certain game on splinterlands too, i study the rules and my opponent game play to make sure same doesn;t happen another day....So in whatever we do in life, we should not be afraid to try again when we fail, quitters never win and winners never quit, as long as we do not stop, we are going to achieve our aim someday!
Never underestimate your opponent"
it happened that i once entered a tournament, i beat some top players only for an account not even in top 100 to defeat me, i was angry and bittered but learnt my lesson, i guess i underestimated my enemy and hence suffered a loss, no matter who you face in life, even if the odds seems to favor you, put in your very best and never think too low of your opponent..Overconfidence has been the downfall of many great warriors...
Save for the raining day
There was a time dec was selling for 0.002 but now it is selling for 0.005, what a huge difference tho it is also understandable that the low price of hive made dec appreciate so much, many people sold off all their dec when it was 0.002 due to the fact that they have no self control and some have no belief in dec rising to this height, they must be regretting not saving some dec for today, i always make sure i keep 50pcent of my asset incase of bullrun like this, dec has been pegged to 1usd so 0.005 is almost at that pegged price.. i don't have any dec right cos i sold them all but there is hope that i will get more tomorrow lol.....
Learn from the masters
No one knows everything, this is why you must be humble so you can get to learn what you don't know, i do challenge some top players on splinterlands especially akomoajong and xawi for a duel in order to learn their skills to improve mine and it has been working greatly for me, learning is wide, do not be satisfied with the little you know but aspire to know more that we inspire you into greatness!..
Ability to read mind
Splinterlands do make us have one gift of reading the opponent mind due to the rules they give during battles, tho it fails atimes when it involves a rogue opponent that refuse to follow the rules and that could lead to a fatal blown on our neck or it can also favor us if our set up is fit for the rogue line up by the opponent... None theless it gives us the chance of knowing what other people are thinking and that is an awesome feeling!...
