Sublime Beautiful Sunday | Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex Part 3

This is a follow up from my previous two post on Tràng An, Ninh Binh Province - an outdoor excursion to see one of the largest cave-mountain exploration, at least for me. To see my previous post, check out HERE #1 and HERE #2

Tràng An is one of the renowned UNESCO World Heritage and I can understand why. Not only is it so secluded and protected by any capitalism; its beauty is just astounding.

This is me at the entrance before we started our journey by boat through the mountains. Behind me is the view of the mountain of Tràng An; at this point, I still wasn't sure what to expect. All I knew was that I'm supposed to spend the next 2 hours here. Oh yes... we all are still required to wear our mask which is a good thing. On normal occasions, this place would be packed with tourist but since Covid-19, the number of tourist have dropped significantly.

The only way to move around the river is by row boats and these here are the drivers all waiting for tourist such as us. This is just one part of the river where boats are being parked. There's at least 200 over row boats all lined up from one end of the river to the other. It is very sad to see all these empty row boats - such is life of a destination that relies on tourist.

The weather was good - cool and breezy. Though it was already noon, the sun was hardly up. Maybe it's this part of the province and since the mountains were all around us, it kept the temperature rather low. We bought straw hats for feat of the sun but we hardly used it except for photo taking. Our boat driver was a lady and she is indeed very strong. Definitely not easy rowing a boat with 5 people in it.

If you ever have the chance to visit Hanoi, make sure to take this trip to Ninh Binh province. A day trip is more than enough to enjoy the outdoors. Best to get a tour guide so he can explain the histories of this place.

It's Sunday... And it's time for another Beautiful Sunday and Sublime Sunday. So, I'm trying something new this week. Something out of the box, something different, something wild, something odd and who knows where this Sunday will lead us.

#SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a while #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108. Both of whom share similar wonderful thoughts of how Sundays should be for all of us.
