How to prepare Okpa a food from Nsukka in Enugu State.
Okpa is one of the famous food in Nsukka area of Enugu State Nigeria.
Okpa is called Bambara nut in English.
This is how it is been prepared
Ingredients for the okpa
*You have to grind the nut to powder
Then sieve it to avoid it having balls while mixing.
*You grind uzuza using local grinding stone.
Uzuza is to give the okpa a nice scent And it also prevent running stomach for those who usually have running stomach after eating it.
*You grind fresh pepper if you have, if you don't, you make use of dry grinded pepper.
- Salt, look-warm water and leather or tin or banana leaf.
But in our case we're using leather

Adding of uzuza, salt and fresh pepper
After about 2 hours On the fire the okpa is ready.
