Back on Hive with Crunchy Memories

Hey everyone

After a long time, I am finally back on Hive blogging. I had been really busy with personal stuff, so I couldnt post anything for a while. Nothing big has changed, I am just on a keto diet these days, and only 10 days are left. After that, I will probably leave keto and jump straight back into junk food life… and maybe gain even more weight than before hehehe

Speaking of junk food, I want to share a special memory with you all today.

This moment is from 15th May 2025.

In the beginning, I never used to eat lunch at the office. But then, some new colleagues came into my life who forced me to start joining them for lunch. Slowly, I actually started enjoying it. New office, new people everything changes in life, and thats something I have learned from experience.

One thing I truly believe: What I am doing today, I might not be doing 10 years from now.
Thoughts change, habits change, though your true nature usually stays the same.

At my last job, I gained most of my weight there Why? Because the office used to order heavy meals for lunch every day, the kind of food that makes you feel like your stomach is going to burst lol

Pictures from that one time is still saved in my phone, taken on 15th May 2025 where you can literally see how happily I am eating junk food. But it was not just any junk food... It was from Kababjees Fried Chicken, one of the most popular food brands in Pakistan. This brand became super famous when people started boycotting international chains like KFC and McDonalds. Kababjees jumped into the market as a local alternative, and they really made a name for themselves. They have their own story which I will share in another post sometime but for now, lets talk about that meal.

Their box said “Seriously Crunchy Inside”, and believe me, when I took a bite of the zinger, I was like Wah wah wah It tasted amazing.....
I had actually taken those pictures for Hive, planning to share the moment and now here it is.

Getting Kababjees in an office lunch was not a joke, it felt like a proud moment. I really enjoyed that day a perfect mix of work and food. Those crispy chicken bites made my work feel easier and with their own Kababjees Lemon Soda, it was a complete meal. Everything was from their original range.

It had been a long time since I last had Kababjees Fried Chicken, and I honestly loved the taste and quality this time. It was fresh, smelled great, and the chicken was juicy. Of course, not every order is perfect, I have heard many complaints from others too. But luckily, mine turned out great and I fully enjoyed it.

Also… who exactly is the Kababjees uncle mascot? The mascot design is nice, but lets be honest, we all know who its inspired by lol You know what I mean.... Still, credit where its due Kababjees has made a good place for itself in the market and seems to be doing really well.

I just hope they maintain their quality and taste, continue to grow, and hopefully expand internationally one day so the world can enjoy our desi flavor.
