Welcome to the Cycling Community! This community is for all Hivers who are interested in cycling in any form. There are so many different types of cyclists and bicycles and everyone is welcome here. Even if you can't ride a bicycle yourself.
If you do ride a bicycle, you can create your introduction post by sharing your bicycle with the #MYBIKE tag.

By subscribing to the Cycling Community and creating your first blog you will earn the Hive Cyclist badge!
Here are some examples of the topic you can post in this community:
- Blog about cycling trips you made
- Reviews of bicycles or cycling equipment
- Cycling news items
- Reports of cycling sport events
- ...
The community has been flooded with blogposts about how good cycling is for your physical and mental health, so please no more posts about that.

The rules
There are just a couple of rules for posting in this community:
- Be nice and have respect for each other.
- Only post in English. You can post in other languages too, but always add the English translation to your blog.
- Don't plagiarize! Mention your sources. If you don't use your own images you can get free to use images from sites like Pixabay or Pexels.
- Don't use AI to write the blog for you! You will be banned when you do.
- Put some effort in your posts. Blogs should at least have over 200 words.

The Cycling Community had been admitted to the OCD Community Incubation program. This means that quality posts within the Cycling Community will are eligible to receive an upvote from OCD.

Strava2Hive
@Strava2Hive is a tool made by @run.vince.run with which you can automatically create blog posts from your Strava activities. When you add @cycling to the description of your activity on Strava it will be automatically posted in the Cycling Community.

Most people use photos in their introduction post. Just a few make video's. Although I see more videos being posted in the community.
Just make a nice introduction post. You can do it in two languages and just add an English translated version.
