In Pakistan, Central Superior Service (CSS) exams are the most prestigious competitive exams that are conducted to recruit candidates for Federal Government Services. Officers for 17 grade are derived from these exams. So far I know about the criteria of these exams, the selection is merit based. Firstly, the aspirant has to clear the written exams comprising of 12 subjects. Then, there is an interview that has its own passing head.
Any one who successfully clears the exams must have burnt the midnight oils in acquiring the enough knowledge for the task. There is no doubt that the successful candidates are not simply formally educated but are the ones with ability of critical thinking and with holistic knowledge of the world. Such persons are supposed to be the torch bearer for others. These officers form the bureaucracy of our country.
There are12 different characters out of which Pakistan administrative service is at the highest rank. Anyone who is selected the service must be on the Highest merit. After completing the course for this cadre, The candidate is hired as assistant commissioner.
The purpose of telling the aforementioned details to explain the notion I am going to put forward. I have been a great advocate and staunch believer of what Nelson Mandala said
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
I believed that the provision of quality education to our children is one of the most important responsibility on us as parents. It is only the education that can make them able to deal with the world positively, that can open their minds and broaden their horizons, that can make them stand confidently anywhere in the world, and above all, that can make them a beneficial human on the surface of the earth. Nevertheless, lately, I have to revisit my ideology.
It is not simply the education (no matter how high quality it is) that can turn the man into human. Instead, there is something else that is more important to make education the apt weapon for changing the world. And that important thing is ...........
The prime purpose for getting education

At this stage, I will go back to the initial point from where I started the article. Last year, I heard a news during lock down. A government officer was taking bribe to allow people to open their shops and marriage halls. Not only this, but he was also facilitating people (who would bribe him) to destroy their rivals’ businesses by putting the penalties on them for not following the lockdown restrictions. That officer was an assistant commissioner, someone who is highly educated. His education didn't stop him from corruption. The education only helped him attaining the powers, but didn't stop him from abusing them. It was the case that came to light. There are many other cases of even bigger corruptions in the bureaucracy (comprised of the highly educated individuals) that never come to light. Education does not make them a useful person but degrades them from the very level of humanity. After all, it is the education that brought them to the powers they abuse.
Why is that so? Why the education cannot bring any positive change?
It is because the purpose for which one gains education is a selfish one. If education is gained just to earn money, it is only served to fulfil one's greed. Education can bring positive change only when its prime purpose is to serve humanity. An education the prime purpose of which is to earn money for oneself can never help in flourishing the society. My emphasis is on the prime purpose. There is no wrong in utilizing one's education for earning a better living. However, the earning shouldn't be in a morally wrong way at the expense of society's welfare.
For attaining the real benefits of education it is essential to design the academic curriculum in a way that teaches ethics and spiritualism instead of materialism. Along with it, it is the responsibility of parents as well to inculcate morality in their kids, as @vanessacala stated in her post My parents' love is without measure or restriction
We are the essence of our parents and we must be careful with our children because we know that they will try to copy us. That is why we must know what education we are going to receive.

Gracias por tu mención en tu post ❤️👏🏻 y me alegra que lo hayas tomado como ejemplo al final.
