HEALTH IS MORE THAN WEALTH

Hello , everyone. I hope you've all been doing well. It's been a while since I participated in the DCC contest, which is one of my favorites, due to circumstances beyond my control, but the good news is that I'm back and even better. @clixmoney is hosting a #health week this week. WHAT EXACTLY IS HEALTH?

My Physical Health Education (P.H.E) teacher defined health as a state of total well-being throughout my high school years, which is absolutely right. When a person is entirely well, he or she is free of illness and pain, indicating that the person is healthy. A healthy person exercises regularly, eats a balanced diet, and sleeps well.To sum up, health is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a condition of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, rather than simply the absence of sickness or infirmity. Health is not a one-time event; it is a continual process that lasts till the last breath; a person can be healthy today and sick tomorrow. Physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental, and occupational health are examples of different types of health. If a person has all of these, he is considered to be in total well-being.

THE VALUE OF GOOD HEALTH

There is nothing that can compare to good health. Here are some of the benefits of good health:
-It allows us to achieve our goals and objectives. We all have excellent intentions that can only be realized if we are in good health; the brain functions best when it is healthy.

  • Good health keeps you from dying too soon. Not every sick person gets sick; some people are unwell but appear to be active; this is so dangerous that it can result in rapid death, such as slumping and dying. When a person is healthy, he is not affected by this.
  • Good health keeps you from getting sick. The polar opposite of excellent health is illness. No one wants to get sick, and excellent health is the best way to avoid being sick. No one wants to be sick since it causes discomfort, exhaustion, loss of appetite, and mental disorders.
  • Happiness is a result of good health. The majority of happy people are healthy because they have less worries, which can only be reached through good health.
  • One's health is one's wealth. The greatest gift somebody can receive is good health. To be affluent, one must be in good health. A healthy individual spends less money since they don't have to spend money to get better.

    WHAT DO I DO TO KEEP MYSELF HEALTHY?

I make every effort to eat healthy foods, have a medical examination at least twice a year, eat plenty of fruit, drink plenty of water, and exercise. Healthy diet protects against a variety of ailments, including diabetes, cancer, and others. A medical examination can help detect any early indicators of a health problem so that it can be treated quickly. Fruits provide the body with vitamins and minerals. Drinking plenty of water helps to flush bacteria from the bladder, aid digestion, prevent constipation, and keep one hydrated, while exercising helps to control body weight, lower the risk of heart disease, and keep one physically active, among other things.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE ADVICE I GIVE PEOPLE FOR BETTER HEALTH?

I'm not a health professional, and to be honest, I don't give anyone advice on how to improve their health. The best I can do is live a healthy lifestyle, and as they experience the benefits of my healthy lifestyle, they will want to do the same. Perhaps inviting my friends around for a wonderful meal will serve as a health tip for them.

ARE THERE ANY HEALTH QUOTES OR PROVERBS I KNOW?

When I visited my grandma, she would always utter this Yoruba proverb,It took me a while to translate to English "Nothing is greater in life than being hale and healthy at all times"

While browsing health-related post, I came across @steemflow post, which is a brief and instructive one in which he says and I quote " When you feel the heat, you look out for Chilled water for cooling down. It does give a brief relief from heat but on a longer time it will prove bad for you health" He shared the side effects of drinking chilled water using himself as an example; after reading his content, I realized I needed to change my ways with drinking cold water.
