RE: I Tried My Best and Have No Regrets

in The Pub4 days ago (edited)

Be careful man. It's a wild place out there in downvote land.

I learned a lot from this. It is hard to describe but this is the best I can come up with. And by the way, it took me a while to respond, you know me (not really), but I really did have to think your comment and my response through.

A wise man once said, "Life is like a box of chocolates." I would argue this is only partly true. In my mind, "Life is like a box of chocolates, but sometimes there is a dried dog turd where a chocolate should be."

The dried dog turd is cunning and unassuming; it is exceptionally easy to miss. So if you don't scan things carefully, it is likely you will make a mistake and eat this dried dog turd. GROSS!!!

But even if you make THIS mistake, you must remember, a wise man once said, "the dog turd feeds the earth." The Dog Turd is Life! So even if it was gross and wrong, you did get something out of this. You really did!

Because the dog turd will feed the soil and the soil will nurture the grass and a butterfly might land on that blade of grass one day. Is it likely? I don't know, but that is pretty interesting and it really makes you think.

Outside of that, if you have a second, pull up a chair, I would like to tell you a quick story. So I tried this app, it's pretty cool, and I was wondering, do you love hive analytics? To me it is a question worth asking. It really is.

Either way, cheers man. Explore the wonders of life, find a box of chocolates, but remember, you are what you eat.

Your Truly,

PS (I have no idea what is going on right now).
