¡Bienvenidos de vuelta a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo un cover bastante particular que decidí hacer con un motivo más especial que el simple hecho de mostrar mi calidad como cantante y músico, por eso, el vídeo no es tan trabajado como en ocasiones anteriores.
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you a quite particular cover that I decided to do with a more special reason than just showing my quality as a singer and musician, so the video is not as worked as in previous occasions.
La razón, una causa | The reason, a cause
Hace unos días, he visto en Instagram y ahora en HIVE varios post con el tag #ChallengeAccepted, así que decidí investigar un poco al respecto y resulta que hay varios motivos detrás de esa iniciativa; la primera es el hecho de que las mujeres se unan entre ellas resaltando qué es lo que las empodera y las hace increíbles (aunque ya solo por el hecho de ser mujeres lo son).
La segunda, es un poco más trágica; tiene que ver con un caso de feminicidio desmedido en Turquía, se volvió viral la foto de una chica la cuál pueden ver en Instagram al hacer click en este enlace porque criticó al gobierno de dicha región por no combatir con efectividad el feminicidio y permitir que la región sea una de las áreas con mayor tasa de feminicidios del planeta.
No hace falta ser mujer y estar en peligro para denunciar el feminicidio; esta no es una batalla de hombres contra mujeres, es una batalla de gente buena contra gente mala.
Por eso me sumo al #ChallengeAccepted recordándole a toda mujer del mundo que valen muchísimo y que nadie puede decirles lo contrario; toda la vida he sido feminista y por ende, siempre defenderé los derechos y la integridad de las mujeres, además de resaltar las grandes hazañas, labores y capacidades que tienen las mujeres en el mundo.
Ustedes hacen que este mundo sea increíble, ustedes son increíbles.
A few days ago, I saw in Instagram and now in HIVE several posts with the tag #ChallengeAccepted, so I decided to investigate a little bit about it and it turns out that there are several reasons behind that initiative; the first one is the fact that women join each other highlighting what empowers them and makes them incredible (although just because they are women they are incredible).
The second is a little more tragic; it has to do with a case of unconscionable feminicide in Turkey, a photo of a girl went viral which you can see on Instagram by clicking on this link because it criticized the government of that region for not effectively combating feminicide and allowing the region to be one of the areas with the highest rate of feminicide on the planet.
You don't have to be a woman and be in danger to denounce feminicide; this is not a battle of men against women, it is a battle of good people against bad people.
That's why I join #ChallengeAccepted in reminding every woman in the world that they are worth a lot and that no one can tell them otherwise; all my life I've been a feminist men and therefore I'll always defend the rights and integrity of women, as well as highlight the great deeds, tasks and abilities that women have in the world.
You make this world incredible, you are incredible.
La canción | The song
Elegí la canción «El Mismo Aire» de Camilo Echeverry porque es una canción con una letra bastante fuerte, sobre un problema dentro de una relación de pareja; narra la historia de dos personas que se han vuelto tan tóxicas que ya no pueden ni respirar el mismo aire en una habitación.
Decidí cantar esa canción haciendo una pequeña metáfora con respecto a los detonantes de la violencia familiar y para recordarle a cada persona que me lee, de que no se debe tolerar la violencia bajo ninguna circunstancia, hay que alejarse y buscar ayuda antes de que sea tarde y las consecuencias sean muy graves.
Grabé este vídeo en @threespeak en formato Threeshorts (vídeo de menos de un minuto) porque me gusta mucho atraverme a hacer vídeos sustanciosos cortos para que las personas puedan reproducirlo muchas veces o quedar con expectativa y ganas de escuchar algo más.

I chose the song "El Mismo Aire" (The Same Air) by Camilo Echeverry because it is a song with quite strong lyrics, about a problem within a couple's relationship; it tells the story of two people who have become so toxic that they can no longer even breathe the same air in a room.
I decided to sing that song making a little metaphor about the triggers of family violence and to remind each person who's reading me right now, that violence should not be tolerated under any circumstances, you have to get away and seek help before it is too late and the consequences are too serious.
I recorded this video on @threespeak in Threeshorts format (video less than a minute long) because I really like to dare to make short, substantial videos so that people can play it many times or be left with the expectation and desire to listen to something else.
