I CLEANED THE HOUSE OUT OF BOREDOM: The Leftover Food had Spoiled

in Daily Bloglast month

A day in my life as a certified unemployed humanoid living in my grandparents' house for the mean time.

Usually, I wake up at 7 AM to make coffee and cook rice for breakfast before heading out to the store.

Every morning feels like unproductive that I don't want to move. So, I started my day by checking what's there for breakfast.

First, I prepared my cousin's all-time favorite breakfast- Milo and rice! She could live forever with just Milo as her viand. If not Milo, she would prefer eggs, fried fish or dried fish (uga). She's such a picky eater. At least she eats rice.

There was left over rice and laswa vegetable. I made fried rice, boiled the left over veggies and slice some ripe pangi mangoes.

I forgot to taste the veggies first. Right when I was about to eat, I noticed something smelled off. I tasted them, and yasssss confirmed- it was spoiled already, huhuhu. Funny me. I just gave them to the dogs since they are not picky eaters tho.

I was really disappointed by that but I let it go. It was truly my fault for not tasting before reheating. I wasted time and effort.
Well, the ripe pangi mangoes were surprisingly good. Yummy and sweet.

So after I finish eating my breakfast, I started scrubbing the jalousie windows. Who knows when was the last time they cleaned these windows? And yikes- they were very filthy. Dirt overload.

I mixed zonrox with surf powder in water and used a sponge to cleanse the cloudy crystals. I was not used to cleaning them because we don't have any at home. Lol. I still tried my best to clean them. I was really desperate to make them look neat and clean.

After scrubbing them, I wiped them off with a dry, unused cotton cloth. But after sometime, the water left weird marks that looks awful. Atleast they looked clearer on the inside.

I rearranged the whole place. Well, I was the one who was cleaning. I figured I was the boss for the day. I could change the position of the sofas, tables and chairs wherever I wanted. 😂 Did I feel like the owner of the house? Nah, I just wanted to change the style a bit. My aunt wouldn't mind tho. But if my other, stricter, aunt was home, then I'd be doomed.

I picked up my cousin's toys that were scattered all over the living area. I know she'll get mad at me for touching her stuffs.

I did bunch of other chores around the house for hours. I was tired but satisfied with how everything turned out. It felt good to see the place look more comfortable.

After all the cleaning, I felt hungry, so I checked the fridge for something available and ready to eat. I found some left over cheesy ramen, added a little bit of water and reheated it. More left overs for the day- what an unhealthy way to live!

I planned not to go to the store but my aunt called and told me to come because she needed me there.

I love this spot on the road because I can see the beautiful scenery when walking.

It was about to rain, but because I walked faster than usual, I arrived at the store immediately without being caught in the pouring rain.

My blog ends here! Thanks for reading and stopping by. Love lots😘
