Hello dear Hivers, It's me again @jaylasola

I open a book like Your 10 Keys to Happiness — a collection of real stories and gentle wisdom about how to live a fuller, happier life. With each turn of the page, I begin to realize: maybe this is exactly what I need for days like this. Because happiness isn’t always this grand fireworks or dramatic breakthrough. Sometimes — just sometimes — it’s a quiet breath, a soft smile, a gentle reminder that things don’t always have to be heavy.

One story tells of someone discovering how powerful simple gratitude can be — how counting your blessings, even small ones like a warm cup of coffee or a roof above your head, changes your world. Another reminds you that forgiving the past, forgiving others — even forgiving yourself — can lift a weight you didn’t even realize you were carrying. And there are stories about daring to step out of your comfort zone, trying something new, rediscovering passions, embracing who you really are.

As I read, I imagine myself in the shoes of those people. I feel their hope. Their fear. Their courage. And I start asking myself quietly: what if I tried that too? What if I looked at my own life through the same lens — of gratitude, of openness, of daring to dream again?

I close the book for a moment, lean back, and just breathe. In that stillness, I sense something shifting inside me. The stress I was carrying — worries about the future, doubts about my worth — they soften. I’m reminded that happiness isn’t something you win or earn by luck. It isn’t locked behind some huge achievement. It’s inside you — built day by day, through simple choices and gentle habits.

And just like that, reading becomes more than just a pastime. It becomes a ritual of hope. A daily act of kindness — not only to others, but to yourself. Because giving yourself permission to rest. Permission to imagine. Permission to heal. That — perhaps — is one of the greatest keys to happiness.
So, whenever I feel the weight of silence after a long day, or the emptiness that sometimes sneaks in when life slows down, I reach for a book like this. I read not to escape. I read to remember. To reconnect — with myself, with what matters, with that small spark inside me that still believes life can be gentle and kind.
And maybe, if you were to read it too, you’d find that spark for yourself.
Thank you for taking the time to read. See you on my next blog.

This a good book to uplift ones spirit when downhearted. There's plenty to be thankful for, having gratitude over the people around us, a roof over our head, a simple coffee.... happiness doesn't have to be grand, it just needs to be simple, felt and shared
