Getting Free Medical Test Unplanned

in Daily Blog2 days ago (edited)

Hello friends. Welcome to my blog. I hope we had a fun day filled with Thanksgiving as it is being celebrated together as families in some part of the globe. Even though such celebration isn't witnessed in my country, I thank God every day for the gift of life, good health, and for my family and friends, including those on Hive.

So, I had an interesting day with a free medical check-up that I didn't plan for. On my way for some business, I saw some health officials setting up, and one of them signaled me to come for a free check-up. Normally, I'm not someone who goes for such, even the various immunization that are usually done in the country, I never partake in any of their medications. Besides, I hate needles and don't want to feel any pain in my body.

When I went, they offered me a seat and took down my details. I was also the first person they attended to. I was still looking for an opportunity not to do the test even though it was free, so I told them I was rushing out and needed to meet with a client. I was assured that it won't take long, so I gave up.

The time to draw my blood was funny as I wouldn't let them. I hate needles, and they scare me a lot. One of the health officials was trying to tell me to look away. In that moment of distraction, I felt a tingling sensation in my skin after a prickle and then there was blood placed into a test bowl. It wasn't as painful as I feared, and I was happy about it. I was asked to wait a few minutes so the test would be out.

After a few minutes. I was called aside and my heart skipped. I was like, "please what is the result of the test, I hope there's no problem, why did you call me aside?" I really don't know why I was scared, but I guess it's normal after a test.

I was asked to calm down, that the test was negative and I'm good to go. They just wanted to give me some health tips on how to stay healthy and protect myself from the various diseases and viruses out there. At the moment I heard those words, I breathe a sign of relief and said "thank you" I left and continued to place of destination.

That was how I got a free medical check-up today. Have you experienced something similar? Share your experience in the comment section.

Thanks. I hope many get to benefit from it as well.

It is good to checking out health constantly

One of the greatest benefits of regular blood work is that they can identify diseases early on, typically even before they develop symptoms. Regular blood work can detect some of the following diseases: diabetes, high cholesterol, kidney disease, and certain forms of cancer. For example, increased blood glucose levels may be indicative of prediabetes, which allows you to make the required lifestyle changes in order not to develop diabetes. Similarly, abnormal liver enzyme levels could signal liver damage or disease, prompting further investigation and timely intervention.

Alright 👍

Thanks for the information.
