It's incredible how quickly time passes when you're busy with your daily routine. The first seven months of the year are already gone and, thanks to both luck and effort, many of the goals I had set for myself have been achieved. After spending the previous two New Year's celebrations away from my family because I was traveling, I was able to spend the beginning of the new year, 2026, with my loved ones. For Christmas, we had our typical family gathering at my house, with the foods we like covered in mayonnaise, and for New Year's, we got together with friends for a celebration that lasted until 7 AM the next day ❤️.
Es increíble lo rápido que pasa el tiempo cuando uno está entretenido en la rutina diaria. Ya se fueron los primeros siete meses del año y, por suerte y esfuerzo, muchas de las metas que me había propuesto se cumplieron. Después de haber pasado dos celebraciones de fin de año lejos de mi familia por haber estado de viaje, el principio del año nuevo 2026 pude pasarlo con mis seres queridos. Para Navidad hicimos nuestra típica reunión familiar en mi casa, con las comidas que nos gustan llenas de mayonesa, y para Año Nuevo, nos reunimos con amigas en una celebración que se extendió hasta las 7 AM del otro día ❤️.
I've always liked taking photos of everything I do so I can have a record of the things that happened. That's how I now have a large archive of memories that I look through from time to time, and they help me realize how much I've progressed. By Christmas 2025, I still had my old phone, which I used to take the photos I'm going to share today. I had also started my job only four months earlier and was still in the middle of the learning process. We had also just started building the new house for my family, which today, after a lot of effort, is quite far along.
Desde siempre me gustó sacar fotos de todo lo que hago para poder tener un registro de las cosas que pasaron. Así es como ahora tengo un gran archivo de recuerdos que cada tanto miro y que me sirven para darme cuenta de todo lo que avancé. Para la Navidad 2025, aún tenía mi antiguo celular con el que tomé estás fotos que voy a compartir hoy. Tambien había empezado en mi trabajo hacia solo cuatro meses y estaba en pleno proceso de aprendizaje. Y recién habíamos empezado a construir la casa nueva para mí familia, la cuál hoy en día con mucho esfuerzo, está bastante avanzada.

At the gathering we had for Christmas, I made many wishes internally. More than material things, I wished for peace of mind and mental strength to be able to carry out all my projects. Up to this point in the year, everything is going well and is on the right track. However, sometimes I have some low moments, but nothing that doesn't get better a few days later. Our Christmas with the family was very peaceful, and it also put me in a good mood that Santa Claus remembered me :)
En la reunión que hicimos para navidad, pedí muchos deseos internamente. Más que cosas materiales, pedí tranquilidad y fuerza mental para poder llevar a cabo todos mis proyectos. Hasta esta parte del año, todo está marchando bien y viene encaminado. Sin embargo, a veces tengo algunos bajones, pero nada que no se solucione unos días después. Nuestra navidad en familia fue muy tranquila, y también me puso de buen humor que Papá Noel se haya acordado de mí :)

The New Year's celebration was much more festive than Christmas. For that, we got together with friends, and it was more of a very long social gathering that lasted until dawn. After spending two celebrations away from home, I needed to get together with them for a night in which I felt super comfortable. We celebrated at my sister's house with lots of delicious food; each of us brought something to share, and together we made a big table. After eating a little bit of everything, we ended up more than satisfied, with enough food left over for the next day and the day after.
La celebración del Año Nuevo fue bastante más festiva que Navidad. Para eso nos reunimos con amigas y fue más una reunión social muy extensa hasta el amanecer. Después de haber pasado dos fiestas lejos de casa, necesitaba reunirme con ellas en una noche en la que me sintiera super cómoda. Celebramos en la casa de mi hermana con mucha comida rica, cada una llevó algo para compartir, y así entre todas hicimos una gran mesa. Por comer un poco de todo, terminamos más que satisfechas y con comida de sobra para el día siguiente y el otro.

We followed the tradition last year of wearing red for Christmas and white for New Year's. We generally never follow a specific dress code, but I liked doing it because the photos turned out great. Today, eight months later and already so close to the new celebrations, I am grateful for the great start to the year I had, and I hope that what remains of 2026 continues to be as good as it has been so far. Full of love and work for everyone, good health that is always present, and good wishes that are yet to come true 😃.
El año pasado seguimos las tradiciones de vestimos de rojo para Navidad y de blanco para año nuevo. Generalmente nunca seguimos un dresscode específico, pero me gustó hacerlo porque las fotos quedaron geniales. Hoy, ocho meses después y ya tan cerca de las nuevas celebraciones, agradezco el gran comienzo de año que tuve y espero que lo que queda del 2026 siga siendo tan bueno como hasta ahora. Lleno de amor y trabajo para todos, salud que nunca falta y buenos deseos que faltan por cumplirse 😃.

Me hace muy feliz saber todas las cosas buenas que te están pasando. Te lo mereces, eres una persona muy dedicada y decidida. Si bien, como dices, hay momentos de bajones, eso es parte de la vida, y en cierta manera nos motiva a esforzarnos un poco más y salir adelante.
