My toddler's stroller was broken and he was about to run out of milk. How could we go out and buy then?

As I mentioned in my previous post, my son's stroller was broken, particularly the handle. Now, my problem was that his milk was about to run out. Yes, I could ask a favor from my in-laws, but as much as possible, I don't want to. It's been my attitude of doing things on my own, not unless my husband is here. Suddenly felt like I am a cripple and no longer want to do anything 🤣.

That left me with no choice but to walk to the nearest pharmacy (10 minutes). Yes, there is public transportation like tricycles, but you need to go to the station. Quite far from our house, five minutes. That means I already walked half. Most of the neighbors here had their own electric e-bikes.

(this photo was on another day)

Yes, he could walk well, but there would be a lot of stops, anything that caught his attention. Might be a car, dogs, and even trash 🤣. Just like in the photo above, he suddenly stopped walking, even though the road was wide. I don't know what's with the toddlers, but as always, they chose the dangerous one.

So I decided to carry him, even though he is heavy. Of course, he resists, but what can he do? Obviously, I am stronger than him.

Sweating, I arrived at the pharmacy.

He started to check out what he could see 🤣.

I am a frequent buyer here since I was pregnant, and one of the staff asked me;

Is that your baby already when you were pregnant last time? He grows fast!

Oh, he did. Sometimes I find myself browsing my gallery, missing those days when he was still a baby.

Bought an eco bag so it would be easy to carry the milk, as I was planning to buy distilled water at the convenience store.

Since I had milk, and with a toddler, walking home would be a challenge. Not only tiring, but a litthave a little accidenting in a tricyle is neccessary. Yet to avoid wasting money, why not buy bottled water? I'm a Mom, and anything that could help me save money will be my choice.

Four bottles of 7 liters of water and a box of 2.4kg of milk, and we go home.

Since our home is near the road, I told the driver to drop us off in the compound's backyard. It was only a few walks away from our house.

How did I unload?, Still carrying my toddler because if I put him down, he would run anywhere.

Why did you buy a lot of water? Sister in-law asked, as it happened, she was outside her house.

Well, I paid for a ride, so why not buy everything needed?

Thankful she helped me lift it and bring it into our house.

Now, his water would last for a month. The only problem was buying our food at the market and doing the grocery shopping. The handle I ordered online is out for delivery while writing this blog. It would fit better, making it easier.

If he doesn't have a stroller, that means paying fare on the tricycle wherever we go. I find it a waste for someone like me who is used to walking.** It's only a 10-15-minute walk to the market, the church, and local grocery stores. That would be a good exercise for me.

Your boy is indeed growing up so fast and soon he'd start school.

Having toddlers on your walk or out anywhere is a full job. 😂 They just want to see and touch everything and you'd always be on the lookout to ensure they're not in harm's way.

Keep taking care of HIM. Give him a
!HUG from me.

Let him walk in the market too, just buy fish and meat. The heavy items just order online😌😌

I can't imagine how we gonna buy fish at the market 😆
