Hola, Queridos Hivers!
Tienen alguna tradición para el último día del año? Alguna salida, o alguna actividad?
Con mi familia siempre se basaba en reunirnos, preparar la cena, charlar y esperar la noche, pero este año...
Este año mi mamá tenía ganas de salir a pasear, así que junto con mi papá nos fuimos los tres al parque del este!
Ya habíamos ido antes pero no habíamos pasado de la concha acústica, porque habíamos ido a una actividad específica, así que esta vez nos propusimos caminar todo el parque y descubrir cada atracción que éste tuviera.
Primero subimos unas rocas muy de película, parecía un bosque como los de Stranger Things o algo así jejeje. Con árboles secos, hojas en el suelo, rocas grandes para escalar... muy de terror.
Seguimos caminando tomando fotos de la hermosa vista que teníamos mientras intentábamos dirigirnos al zoológico sin éxito. Fue cuando vimos un letrero que indicaba hacia qué dirección estaba cada cosa que empezamos a tomar el camino correcto.
Después de otro rato caminando, llegamos a unas zonas donde estaban los animales.
Los primeros que vimos fueron una pareja de cocodrilos y unas tortugas.
Más adelante vimos muuuchos tipos de aves hermosas!! Miren:
Se nota que son especies magníficas y exóticas, pero están descuidadas...
Me dió mucha tristeza ver a esos pobres animalitos encerrados. Ojalá existiera otra manera de verlos sin necesidad de privarlos de su libertad...
O al menos si los cuidaran mejor.
Anyway, continuamos nuestro paseo y realmente el parque está lleno de unas vistas maravillosas! Estoy pensando si mandar a imprimir una de esas fotos para mandarla a montar en un cuadro jejeje.
Luego llegamos a lo que sería la atracción principal! El Buque!
su nombre es "El Leander". Es una réplica del que usó Francisco de Miranda en una su expedición libertaria de 1806. También es un museo, pero lamentablemente estaba cerrado en ese momento, así que no pudimos entrar.
Pero si pudimos tomar muchas fotos!
Fue un paseo muy agradable, realmente cualquier cosa que me permita tener tiempo de calidad con mis padres me parece magnífica! Y estoy muy agradecida por eso.

With my family, it was always about getting together, preparing dinner, chatting, and waiting for nightfall, but this year...
This year my mom felt like going for a walk, so the three of us went to Parque del Este!
We had been there before, but we hadn't gone beyond the bandstand because we had gone for a specific activity. So this time, we decided to walk the whole park and discover every attraction it had to offer.
First, we climbed some rocks that looked like something out of a movie; it was like a forest from Stranger Things or something, hehe. With dead trees, leaves on the ground, big rocks to climb... very spooky.
We continued walking, taking pictures of the beautiful view while trying unsuccessfully to find our way to the zoo. It was then that we saw a sign indicating the direction of everything that we started to find the right path.
After walking for a while, we arrived at the animal enclosures.
The first ones we saw were a pair of crocodiles and some turtles.
Later on, we saw so many beautiful birds! Look:
You can tell they are magnificent and exotic species, but they are neglected...
It made me very sad to see those poor little animals caged. I wish there were another way to see them without depriving them of their freedom...
Or at least if they were better cared for.
Anyway, we continued our walk, and the park is truly full of wonderful views! I'm thinking of printing one of those photos to have it framed, hehe.
Then we arrived at what would be the main attraction! The Ship!
Its name is "The Leander." It's a replica of the one Francisco de Miranda used on his 1806 liberation expedition. It's also a museum, but unfortunately, it was closed at the time, so we couldn't go in.
But we did manage to take lots of photos!
It was a really lovely outing; anything that lets me spend quality time with my parents is wonderful! And I'm so grateful for that.
