The landlady had the insurance, as it's her apartment, I guess it's a good thing she's well insured because too many things keep popping up (not all due to her lack of maintenance btw, mostly due to the community's lack of funds).
My boyfriend is always very quick to get rid of the water, he tells me to get the stuff needed and then handles it because if I slip, I will probably end up having more physical issues. For our neighbour it was worse for sure!
He's very kind indeed and yesterday the insurance guys came and put an easy temporary fix in the bath so we can use it until it's replaced. Already tested it and no one knocked on the door for water damage, so I guess it's done well :)
